Al, especially genAl, belongs nowhere near a major anime convention, whether on the show floor or video games area. It cheapens the hard work of all the actual devs and creators around it. Clankers cant create.

Thank you to the people researching into Vivarium loving it!!! 💚🌱 My good friend has put over 9 years into this project, starting as a solodev before collaborating with his friend. It's almost a decade of passion, sacrifice, and hard work. Everything is drawn frame by frame! Support human artists 💖

Waaa, I lost a whole week of con crunch time to covid last week 😭 Time to catch up as best as I can, but phew, the lingering fatigue is so bad ;;;; Leave it to a Brooklyn convention to knock my butt flat on the ground 🫠

I've been drawing a whole bunch of racing Miku to make a little booklet of them!! This one is one of my faves so far 💃🚲 #hatsunemiku　 #miku 　#vocaloid 　#初音ミク　＃初音ミクイラスト

2025 Racing Hatsune Miku standing at the ready to start biking on a boardwalk! I took the photos of my friend posing with her bike before actually planning out the picture lol, so I was a little torn on what sort of environment she should be in. I first considered a crosswalk or outside a convenience store, but tbh I was kinda not feeling drawing a city after drawing the mechanics of a bicycle.

I've also been pushing more of the retro anime style lately too! It's fun and I've actually been reading up on how cels were painted and how xeroxing works to try and start adding little details to make it a little more authentic. Biggest surprise was learning that there was commonly a 3rd tone painted on the front of the cel as a separating line between light and shadow areas. This is my first time incorporating that, although its really subtle (just like it is in practice haha!)

Keep an eye out for more racing Mikus, I have pics for 2022, 2021 (summer), and 2024 so far!

advent - promise - myth complete💖 (i'm so sorry justice I will not have time to draw you before offkai 😭) #hololive #holoEN ＃ホロライブ

My 15 keychain designs of HoloEN's Myth, Promise, and Advent! I started them for AnimeNYC 2024 and have continued adding to the set! I hope I can do HoloJustice soon, I just have so many other pieces I need to finish ;; I would eventually like to start holoJP too, but these take me a long time to design and are kind of expensive to produce

2024 was a ROUGH year to start these LMAO. I think I finished Ame like a month before her graduation announcement, and then the graduations kept on rolling ;~;

finished my frutiger aero koseki bijou! 💙 this is going to make a really pretty keychain/sticker for Offkai! 🥹 #bijouwled #KosekiBijou #Hololive #ホロライブ #HololiveEN #HoloAdvent

Koseki Bijou from Hololive advent! A design of her in her casualwear outfit, surrounded by decor inspired by Frutiger Aero aesthetics/Windows Vista/Mac Agua. There's also a tiny bit of vaporwave with the low poly 3D feel on the pebble and the moai heads.

The way I started with her rabbit mascot GEOW was inspired by bonzi buddy/clippy haha. I couldn't get the look down properly without it looking kind of crusty so I just went with harder shading and called it a day.

Biboo is so zoomerish that I wanted to do a more recent but still nostalgic vibe for her desktop keychain!

While I won't be in the ANYC artist alley this year, I will be exhibiting in PlayNYC, which is a huge part of the gaming hall at ANYC! 💃 I'll be selling tons of JRPG fan merch, along with fan merch for a couple indie games that have grabbed my hyperfixation LMAO (aka, balatro and hades)

I wasn't logged into my bluesky on my phone so I never got to post my Sakuracon pics here! It was a really great time, despite the cheesecake factory choosing violence for 2/3 days 💀 It was my first time flying solo at my table, I'm really proud of how I did 💙 (even tho it was a bit of a mess LMAO)

Thank you so much for everything @ AMKE! 💙 It was my first time attending a con outside the east coast, and my first time in Milwaukee. Everyone was just so lovely and the vibe felt really nice ;u; Thank you for making the weekend so pleasant and special! I hope I can come back! 💖

I am at AMKE this weekend!! 💖 Please come visit me at table L10! I've got Xenoblade, Hololive, and some Metaphor:Refantazio merch!! (Sadly the keychains didn't come in time but I have postcards and clear vinyl stickers!!)

Renalucent・VTuber and Animator 🌠 @renalucentvt.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

I finished my first 4 Metaphor: Refantazio keychains hopefully in time for AMKE! (crossing fingers on that rush order ;;;;) They were really fun to paint and I definitely want to do more cameo-inspired ones for the rest of the party 💃 #metaphorrefantazio #メタファー #metaphor

The protagonist (not feelin Will as his name LMAO), Louis, Gallica, and Hulkenberg from Metaphor: Refantazio! I drew these designs with cameo brooches in mind, and had first thought of it with protag and Louis since it makes me think of royalty.

I was planning to do Junah in this set as well but ran out of time (Gallica weirdly ate up the most time, followed by Louis unsurprisingly)

They'll be printed on wood! This small test run will not have pin backings, but if they catch interest I'll do a proper brooch printing next.

OMG!! Seeing the pics from Katsucon, I am so so sorry to the artists affected. I hope everyone stays healthy and is able to get compensation for what they lost... It's SO expensive with upfront costs to do cons now, and it is unacceptable for such a big venue to have issues of this scale.
