To grow the competitive Splatoon scene, the community must have a strong foundation. Infrastructure such as websites, livestreams, resources, and cross-platform outreach are critical to reaching and retaining new players. Read more about this here: www.splatoonstronghold.com/news/the-nee...

A colorful cartoon character with orange and blue braided hair, wearing a black shirt and pointing forward, appears on the left side of the image with a yellow "3" on their hair. To the right, bold white text reads: "The Need for Better Scene Infrastructure." Below, smaller text says: "Why the community: • is in a closed system, • has a lack of communication, • and wants to help. Read more in the linked article." The background is a grayscale collage of various scenes from the video game Splatoon.

Wuthering Waves v2.0 demonstrates a company that genuinely cares for their game and community at every level. They've addressed so many of the major potholes players were forced to encounter, and the new region truly "gets" what I want in a game like this. Genuinely astonished how good it is

small rant time we really need to get rid of this idea that your coach has to be better at the videogame compared to you in order to see improvement in your game I think part of the reason why there's so few actual coaches in the scene is because almost every team I see wants a coach who is

Yup, I learned a lot of fundamentals through Overwatch League and it quickly dispelled the skill argument when i saw some of the best coaches in the league ranked at like Platinum and Diamond

My girlfriend got around to playing act 4 of Natlan's archon quest. Right around when THAT sequence started, when she first encounters the hot air balloon, I hear, "Woahhh I love this balloon." I doze off for a bit, and the next thing i see is nighttime Natlan and her crying "I HATE this balloon!"

don't get the purpose of "theory" discussions abt splatoon when 99% of people will not do the bare minimum and consistently 1) set+focus on measurable goals while playing 2) review actual games and search for good/bad patterns of decisions 3) recognize+acknowledge their mistakes in a productive way

Being really deep into the lore of Genshin, Natlan Act IV is mind-blowing. Seeing so much speculation over the years FINALLY be confirmed, the new threads left, the stakes feeling real for once instead of just being told to us. It's insane how hard they cooked. Now, if only they improved quest sfx

High-key, Crab meta was better. There was way more counterplay and it was less punishing to exist. It was boring but rewarded good positioning and teamplay far more This meta it feels like any random team can completely over perform in a way that makes the game less competitive
