If WordPress is your business, you should be in this room. Running an agency, growing a plugin business, or building websites for clients comes with decisions you shouldn’t have to figure out alone. Who better to compare notes with than people facing the same challenges?

Inside the Within WordPress Guild, Charles asked an interesting question on my article on Modern WordPress Queries. He asked whether the improvements made for WordPress's internal queries have now made the choice between custom fields and taxonomies an easier one.

Connecting AI to WordPress is easy. The permission model is where the risk starts. Can it create drafts, publish posts, install plugins, or run PHP? All four can sit behind the same MCP URL. These are the questions to answer before production: remkusdevries.com/your-ai-age...

Time for Query Optimization! If you've written a plugin for WordPress or any other code, it's time to examine if you're still writing your queries in the most optimized way.

I think we’ve made WooCommerce (and WordPress) performance too small. We really have. We keep talking about speed, Core Web Vitals, and TTFB, and those are super important, but there's so much more that goes into a performant WooCommerce site.

WordPress doesn’t have a plugin problem. It has a “we installed this before we understood the problem” problem. I am less impressed by adding things. I am impressed by removing the wrong things, and wanting to find the actual cause. That’s what this video is about: youtu.be/hclFuxjODfY...
