Depends who they want … and if it’s a specialist role of any sort … they don’t have a backroom team that they use … so it’s a bit of an unknown

000

Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Could be some extra staff … although they usually travel as a duo

100

Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

That would make total sense

100

Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I don’t know when they rime the announcement … there don’t seem to be any issues with the actual move …

Only contribution from that end should be having the money ready … then it’s up to the football side to pick people … there have to be a couple of additions at least

Loan possible … maybe even a buying available … but early stages

000

Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

It’s a new player they are watching for the next window … it’s early stages … but he could be a fit

Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

No idea … football is a joke at that level … lawyers will be milking it … not my game any more

I think that’s the size of it … probably down to whether Keane fancies it … but in meantime they talk to other candidates … and then make the decision … probably before start of next week

100

Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

I thought they would concede some today … but the attacking side was top class …

Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Had a real go. Saw some open spaces in front of them and ran and passed into them. Good finishing too. Mad game. All over the place at times but rather that than some of the Premier crap today.

100

Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Seem to be getting closer … short list of sorts … although I still think Keane is fav if he fancies it …

100

Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

The club did come up with signings at the end of the window. Need time to settle in fully. There’s not much in this division.

Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Wouldn’t say it’s a priority. What they need to do is improve their game. Deeds not words. Then there’s no need for soul searching.

Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

People get very jumpy quickly these days … Palace can’t afford to go down … and if they fear that then they act …
