happy 207th birthday to my 4x great grandma wilhelmine who is buried in chicago!! 😮 here i am at her gravesite when i found it last year

photo of the Vegan Main Dish Competition results poster at the Minnesota State fair, as displayed in the Creative Arts Building. It is a blue poster with 5 photos of winning vegan entrees at the top center. Below that is a grid of 18 photos of other vegan entrees that did not win. None of the recipes are labeled, apart from the name of the person who entered the recipe. The blue ribbon winner is maybe a wrap of some sort. Second place is maybe a curry or something with large veggie pieces and a reddish sauce. third place looks very fresh with large pieces of cucumber and pepitas. Again I WISH they labeled these with the name of the recipe. A real standout from the non winners is an entry with two round (maybe corn?) cakes, meticulously decorated with seeds and small cubed veggies

banana bread competition very stiff at mn state fair
