if fem adolf was actually trending, a lot of artists would actually blindly follow with no self awareness.

2020 -> 2021 -> 2023 now that i for ethical reasons have to look for new franchises to draw fanart of it is time to reflect on the fact that im kind of good at drawing dokis

good artists borrow great artists develop a childhood crush on Clara Oswald and subconsciously design all their characters to kind of look like her

the worst moment in adulthood is when u realize that the characters in the original story you're very passionate about writing actually really resemble those from a piece of media you watched as a child during your formative years and the story as a whole is kind of a weird legally distinct fanfic

I never liked The Phantom Thieves since they all kind of morph into one big amorphous blob as the story goes on but The Investigation Team was still salvageable, however it seems like the creators themselves don't think of it as such. Man don't you just love character writing!

010

The Great ReLLeRtR | COMMISSIONS OPEN @rellertr.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Exactly what I'm saying! Remember how praised Persona 3's ending was with Aigis being by your side telling you about all the important things she's learned from your short time together? Too bad! Nowadays god forbid we give too much attention to a character that might not be the player's favorite

110

The Great ReLLeRtR | COMMISSIONS OPEN @rellertr.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

I'm sorry but in good faith i CANNOT support Atlus and honestly Sega as a whole after what they did to Yakuza franchise. Persona 6 is finally announced? Good! Maybe if you fire your entire staff team of bigots who can't comprehend character writing then I will be interested. Until then, no thanks❤️

040

The Great ReLLeRtR | COMMISSIONS OPEN @rellertr.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

So why can't we extended that grace to Kanji and all the other male social links ASIDE from Yosuke, who already has a whole romance route written, translated and voiced!!!! This has to be the most braindead and disrespectful to the audience's intelligence statement made by game devs of all time ->

130

The Great ReLLeRtR | COMMISSIONS OPEN @rellertr.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Apparently, then will we also be able to date Hisano, the old lady in Revival? Eri too? Nanako, god forbid? Apparently all people of one gender being romanceable means all of them should be, so what about them? Oh right, you can't date them because they aren't interested in Yu as it should be! ->

120

The Great ReLLeRtR | COMMISSIONS OPEN @rellertr.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Who cares if Daisuke might potentially not be interested in Yu! If you, the player, might have the slightest hint of interest in him then he MUST be dateable in Atlus's mind, which is why any sort of distinction between characters must go out the window! Hey Atlus, if one man means all men ->

120

The Great ReLLeRtR | COMMISSIONS OPEN @rellertr.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Just like they've been doing more and more with female characters. Gone are the days of Miss Toriumi being able to make a decision to not pursue a romantic relationship w a random person online! Now you can date your teacher no probs!!! And if Yosuke agrees to date you, then so must Kanji I guess!->

130

The Great ReLLeRtR | COMMISSIONS OPEN @rellertr.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

But the developers are Atlus are simply incapable of thinking of each individual character as possessing their own unique characteristics and sexuality. In their mind, having any male romance means turning all men into personality-less dating automatons ->

130

The Great ReLLeRtR | COMMISSIONS OPEN @rellertr.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

Who ever said all male characters should be romanceable? Nobody said every persona 4 character should have to be attracted to men. People were asking for Yosuke cuz he already HAD a romance route written. Nobody is under the impression that one gay man in a cast means all men in the cast are gay ->

130

The Great ReLLeRtR | COMMISSIONS OPEN @rellertr.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

and instead every cast member in 4-5 has to be a perfect little angel that thinks you're sooo cool and every woman wants to date you and every man wants to be your bestie but this is some next level pandering. "if we did Yosuke, we kinda have to add all the other male characters as well" No??? ->

220

The Great ReLLeRtR | COMMISSIONS OPEN @rellertr.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

in light of the persona 4 news i will genuinely never draw or endorse this franchise in my life. I already never was a fan of Persona 4-5 because of their lean into self-insert fantasy-ness of it all instead of relying on a more story based approach where side characters are allowed to show flaws ->
