The Ribbon Hero ok so well i wanted to watch this movie mostly because of kei mochizuki's art but i was ultimately disappointed because while it is certainly spectacular, beautiful and lavishly animated, the plot is really terrible and barely coherent and i really wish i had read reviews beforehand

Parties Involved: Tilly Testimony of an Eyewitness (I tried to keep a 'fan translation' vibe in the english versions)

Tilly Testimony 01: "The Vending Machine"

"The girl from that shop? Oh, yeah, I know her.

The other day, a vending machine had tipped over. I was trying to get it back upright, but it wouldn't budge an inch—it was packed full of drinks, after all.

Then that little girl came along, shouting, 'Move aside, move aside!' And then... with a 'Hup!'...

...she just picked the machine up and put it right back into place. Then she dusted off her hands and said, 'There, all good!'

When I asked her about it, she just said, 'Isn't it normal?' acting like it was no big deal.

I mean... there is absolutely no way that's normal, right!?"

Tilly Testimony 02: "In the Dungeon"

"I met a strange kid in the dungeon.

She had a backpack about as big as she was, and behind her she was dragging something absolutely enormous. You'd think carrying all that stuff would be exhausting, but she seemed to be having a great time.

I asked if she wanted a hand, but she said she was fine. Then she asked which way the exit was.

Before I could finish giving directions, she said, 'Thanks!' and started walking in the opposite direction. I lost sight of her when she turned the corner.

…It’s a wonder she's survived this long, acting like that. I hope she made it outside in one piece."

Tilly Testimony 03: "Anything Goes Magic Shop"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really great!

They have all kinds of magical items, and the staff are so cheerful that it's contagious. They explained the products so enthusiastically, and even showed me magical items I didn’t really understand, saying, 'This one is amazing!' with genuine excitement.

To be honest, there were several magical items even the staff didn’t really know how to use, but they were so enthusiastic about showing them off that I ended up buying one.

At the time, I thought, 'I wonder what this thing is even for…?' But later, when I got caught up in a bit of trouble, it turned out to be incredibly useful.

I’m so glad I bought it!"
