I think it's really fun world building that they have a fantasy Santa called "Red Hat" who is told in legends much like ours in stories. Nicola herself isn't Red Hat but she admires and spreads their spirit and joy. You need moments like this in a game to make the battles and strife worth fighting.

Trousseau from Octopath 2. He's a young human man with pallid skin, white hair, and bright red eyes. He wears tattered plague doctor's robes, with his mask having been ripped away to reveal his face. His unkempt hair casts his eyes in shadow, and the curl of his lip as he snarls shows that he's missing a tooth. On his cheek is a dark stain, a consequence of the purple rain falling on him. A dagger is strapped to his hips, and he holds one hand toward the viewer threateningly, his glove on that right hand having melted away in the rain to show his sharpened nails. He stands on the roof of a castle, the sky behind him a sickly grey-yellow as purple rain falls.

Kazan and Trousseau from Octopath 2. Kazan, on the left, is an East Asian man with tan skin, grey hair, and dark brown eyes. His hair is in a plain, low ponytail, and he also has a short chinstrap beard. He wears a green kimono, white haori, and dull brown hakama with a simple leather belt around his waist holding a brown pouch. There are numerous small scars across his skin, and in his raised right hand he holds a small sake cup. Trousseau, on the right, is a short, light-skinned man with rosy cheeks, white shoulder-length hair, and red eyes. He wears the Eir's Apothecaries blue uniform, consisting of a short capelet with a dark blue button-up shirt beneath it. Across it is the strap of his bag, which he holds in his leather gloved left hand. Both men are smiling, Kazan more calmly and Trousseau with more cheer. Kazan has no light in his eyes, whereas Trousseau's eyes sparkle. Trousseau also has a missing front tooth.
