this is crazy when a few chapters ago he depicted a real woman, jeanne de valois-saint-remy, as a dominatrix prostitute taking advantage of men and then had her raped in prison for punishment my brother in christ the call is coming from inside the house

020

this switch up happened in the span of literally one chapter btw i’m absolutely flabbergasted

nanako was a little crazy too not that she could ever match up to rei’s freak but rei really almost murdered her because she was using her as a surrogate for her unrequited sister complex and she was still like “ok well i can fix her” & stealing her cigarettes from the ashtray 😭

142

don’t even get me started on THIS

042

kaoru cutting that apple for rei as if she was a little kid & trying to balance her love with frustrated words… rei mommy issues asaka strikes again 🚬

052

nanako and fukiko both wear blue for this scene & the shot is framed in a way that looks narrow and constricting for them both, with nanako inside the telephone box and fukiko behind the window frame. perhaps it’s to illustrate them as foils to the roles they take in rei’s mind? #oniisamae

i’m so distraught about how season 2 fumbled the bag it’s actually ridiculous. jinx and vi thrown under the bus, doing a complete 180 on their season 1 politics, jayvik fujos happy, caitvi becoming ass the moment it became canon. at least mel is thriving 🫠

the more i think about arcane season 2 the more upset i get. i feel so let down. jinx and vi were the heart of season 1 which was one of the best seasons of television i had ever seen & they were both totally screwed over during season 2

i didn’t participate in caitvi top/bottom discourse because i always knew that when it came down to it vi would top

this “let’s put aside our differences for the greater good” “both sides have done bad things” logic was the exact route i was afraid arcane was going to go down 🤦‍♀️ #Arcane #arcanes2spoilers

i called timebomb shippers delusional in my head for years but ykw your delusions became reality and i couldn’t be happier for you all. “can we pretend like it’s the first time” moved me #Arcane #ArcaneSeason2 #arcanes2spoilers

O God Almighty, please grant my prayer and strike down Fakesbian Ichinomiya. May she never experience a day of peace in her life, & when Judgement finally comes, send her down to Hell where all other miserable sinners lie. In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Amen 🙏

#nooticing how upon being told to get out of fukiko’s way, rei didn’t just leave the room and instead she chose to wait by the door to let them pass it’s like she wants to be walked all over. self-flagellation is such an interesting trait of rei’s i’ll never stfu about it

i fuck with her gay f—ggot aura so much

man i get why vi and caitlyn’s confrontation didn’t happen right then because vi was prioritising her family then & she wasn’t going to let her emotions surrounding cait disrupt that. but i stg if they don’t let vi stand up for herself soon. #Arcane #arcanes2spoiler
