Been learning C for the past couple weeks, from basically 0 programming experience This weekend I tried to put the knowledge into practice and tried to make a program for the MSX, using the MSXgl lib Made a chord player for the AYM based on key presses! It's still very rough but I'm proud of it!!

ｱｰFM音源の種類を表してるOPなんちゃらってやつ、系統/Typeそのものがアルファベットの並び順だったのか (奇々怪界のbgmを聴いている時に急に気がついた) L -> N -> M で年代と性能がちゃんと一致してるこの文字の後に数字やA, Bが付くことで更に音源チップのバージョンがありますよってことね💡

同じ波形(Waveform)でもゲームハードによってまじで全然音変わるんだよなーウェーブテーブルのスペックではなく、補完方法の違いとかオーディオエンコード時のアルゴリズムみたいなのを各ゲーム機でリストアップした資料みたいなのが欲しい

With the exception of the guitar section in the second half, many of the waves in this song are quoting from Namco (WSG title) and Konami (SCC title) (KiraStudio doesn't have a copy'n'paste function for plain text (why), so I had no choice but to transcribe them by eye lol)
