Tried painting a tome keeper in the bone coloured armour, rather than the white I've been doing. I think I like this more. #Warhammer40k #TomeKeepers #SpaceMarine

Experimented with different ideas for this one. I am still relatively new to painting. So things like highlights and dry brushing are uncharted territory. #warhammer40k #BlackLegion #Chaos #ChaosSpaceMarines #Terminator #painting

Tried out painting one of my marines. Comparing this to one of my original tome keepers, the skill improvement is so noticeable! #Warhammer40k #SpaceMarine #SpaceMarines #TomeKeepers

Finished painting Ursula Creed. Pushing myself to do highlights and trying different things like subtle rust on metal and small details. I think I'm getting better at this. #Warhammer40k #ImperialGuard #AstraMilitarum #Creed #UrsulaCreed

I just tried dry brushing and very small highlights for the first time. This is probably my best looking marine so far. I painted a shoulder black because my main army is black legion. #Warhammer40k #ChaosSpaceMarines #DeathGuard #Nurgle

I absolutely love the forge fiend model. It's so damn cool. Painting it was a lot of fun too! #warhammer40k #ChaosSpaceMarines #Chaos #painting #miniatures

Finally got round to playing a game of combat patrol thanks to my friend @rei1749.bsky.social letting me use his guard army. Also my first win too. #warhammercommunity

A picture of a table setup for a game of Warhammer 40k.
There are 3 squads of infantry in the middle hiding behind cover, a two legged walker on the right and 2 artillery guns nearer to the camera. The table has cardboard buildings scattered across it.

A group of Warhammer 40k cadian guard infantry models in melee range of a group of chaos possessed infantry models.

A Warhammer 40 guard walker model in melee range of some chaos cultist models on the left, and some legionaries chaos marine models on the right.
There is cardboard cover scattered about

Terminator Space Marine in Tome Keepers chapter colors. I'm very happy with the look of the bone color armour, but the Ushabti Bone basecoat was an absolute pain to work with. Will share the recipe later if you want to suffer too :D

My army has expanded a bit today! A friend of mine brought the helldrake for my birthday tomorrow. I treated myself to the other two. I am excited and nervous to paint the helldrake. #warhammer40k #Chaos #chaosspacemarines
