OMG I forgot to mention that I saw THIS on the AC charity table: the entire run of my Furry Awakening manga series. I was convinced I would never find anyone else who knew about it because for decades it was never translated. But judging by the number of tickets in the jar, it's got some fame now. 😃

Near my ancestral house is a shop serving soft ice cream cones that they will dip into chocolate or strawberry or a couple other things, making a candy shell around the outside. I've never encountered this anywhere else. Also watching them turn the cone UPSIDE DOWN to dip it is anxiety-inducing. 😆

Reading a book set in magical realism medieval Brittany and my background as an Arts&Crafts Summercamp kid is coming in handy because I actually know what tablet weaving is and have done it myself once or twice. XD
