"It's time to post again, but what do I post? Oh I know the perfect one." Did this one yesterday afternoon. Was initially just sketching and wound up doing a lot more. I'm well aware that this one isn't going to be for everyone. #furryart

A reptilian character of some variety. He wears only a shirt, and is presenting is rear to the viewer, which exposes his genitals as well as his anus.

The Hidden King's eepiest soldier. This will now be my desktop wallpaper for the foreseeable future.

"Haven't been on bluesky in a bit, lemme check that real quick" "nice."

Nuclear is good. AI is bad. I swear, if the only way to finally get people to switch from coal/gas to nuclear is the AI shitshow, I'm gonna be so pissed.

I seriously need to post more. I've got the art to post, I just haven't felt like it'd be good stuff to post.

Am an exhaustion. Require rest. Want sleep.

Oh that's great! Glad it was resolved (even if there's no indication of what could have caused it to begin with.) I've noticed that discord updates maybe once a week, but if you don't often shutdown your system you can just leave it open for a while and update less frequently.

010

Rego @regognix.bsky.social · 12/01/2026

Welp that rules out what my assumption was going to be! I was thinking it was going to wind up being a deb12 specific issue, but since cachy is based on arch that's not the case. Since moving up to a debian 13 based distro the issue has resolved for me. idk what could be causing it for you. :(

Rego @regognix.bsky.social · 12/01/2026

Discord never auto updates on linux, it's annoying. I used to have that exact issue of needing to reinstall it completely when I was using q4os. I'm not sure what the exact issue is. What distro are you using?

Another bird? I don't have a problem. You have a problem. #furryart #pixelart

A pixel art piece of a female avian character. She has red feathers, and a skull in place of a normal face. She has glowing red eyes and wears a hooded, sleeveless, robe.

Looks like it could be a couple things in there working together. I actually didn't know about jgrpp. Guess now I gotta give that a shot too lol.

Which graphics pack is that? I tend to stick to vanilla and that one looks quite nice. Might be nice using a new one in my next game.

And now my country apparently captured their president. Can I stop living through major historical events?

Rego @regognix.bsky.social · 03/01/2026

Unfortunately I knew it was going to continue to be more of the same. That hearing that they released on new years to try and drown it, the files... now this. I'm tired boss

We're currently in 2025-2, the sequel but worse.

I've sorta refined my pixel art style to a point I'm happy with. It's rough and grungy and that's exactly what I'm going for. #pixelart

A pixel art piece of an unknown figure sitting at an opening in a wall, facing the viewer. They wear a thick coat, a gas mask, and gloves. On their coat is a visible crucifix and another symbol which can't be distinguished. They are holding a coin in one hand, with two others sitting near that hand. The scene is dimly lit by one light behind the figure. There are a few random objects around the scene.

For context: I like religious symbolism for narrative purposes. One of my favorite visual themes is a sort of mix of industrial and religion. It's something I can't quite put into words, but it's not a new idea by any stretch of the imagination.

I still maintain a windows install for certain software and it never ceases to amaze me how busted the os is. Today's random issue is that for some reason it no longer recognized my gpu drvers. Fuckin' vibe coded pos

It's a real shame how common it is now.

Rego @regognix.bsky.social · 27/12/2025

For me it was corn. I didn't eat corn until I was like 13 because of that. I can still remember pretty much everything about it, and how I gagged multiple times because the taste just repulsed me as a small child. When you're a kid almost anything can become a permanent memory.

Rego @regognix.bsky.social · 23/12/2025

Doing yet another fresh debian install because for some reason I find much joy in setting it up and customizing everything. Idk I think I have a problem.

A little pixel art thing I just finished. Been seriously lacking in my posting the past few months due to things being rough on this end, but in any case here's something. #pixelart #furryart

A pixelart piece of a small clearing in a forest. A figure sits before a campfire. The sky is shades of gold purple and blue. The sun is about to rise.

I can respect that, but for me it's gotta be destroy all monsters melee cause I was obsessed with it when I was a kid

For people who are against AI but haven't yet transitioned from Windows to another OS, I suggest giving it a shot. It'll never be 1:1, but for most the change isn't too difficult. It's just that you'll have to find alternatives to some programs, and accept a few compromises.

Rego @regognix.bsky.social · 22/11/2025

It's truly the best av. No one can match the power of the clam.

Alright, I hate doing this sorta thing but I'm desperate. I gotta get together ~60 bucks today to keep some bills paid that I've fallen behind on. If anyone can chip in I'd be immensely thankful. I'm also doing emergency comms. Price sheet will be posted shortly. www.paypal.com/donate/?host...

It's a great deal of fun. I do that for my art sometimes cause I like telling stories. Having both writing and a visual representation really works wonders.

010

Rego @regognix.bsky.social · 04/11/2025

This is why artists and writers need to team up more. A nice story occasionally interspersed with art pieces to depict a scene when it fits is always nice. Or just go full on picture book and have one for each page idk.

Felt like drawing one of my old characters, Maya (a character and species I made back in like 2018) and my sona Rego. :D I got a lot of old characters that I really should draw some more. I should also draw more of her species since I like em so much. (description in alt.) #furryart #monsterart

A rough drawing in which there are two characters. My sona Rego (a crow) stands on the right, while Maya (a species I created) stands on the left.

Below is a description of Maya's species. You can skip it if you don't want to read/listen through it all. it's rather long winded.

Maya is a Bathanian. It is a species I made many years ago, though have somewhat neglected. They are on average around 7-9 feet tall, are rather thin with some variation, have long necks, and their heads are mostly a boney structure with one or more cartilaginous structures that protrude from the tops/sides/backs of the head. Their head shapes are somewhat rounded with a sort of flat "beak" that is somewhat reminiscent of a toucan's beak, though it is taller and mostly a thin structure.

There are multiple vertical openings on either side, along with an opening along the curve of the "jaw." The "beak" is hollow, and if you viewed it from the bottom it looks like a mask that is open from the bottom. They have a mouth where you would expect it on the primary structure of the head. Both the vertical openings, and the one along the "jaw" lead to the interior just as the bottom does.

The eye-like structures are actually empty eye sockets that have a persistent blackness that obscures your ability to see into them. There is a "pupil" in either "eye" that can change shape to reflect mood (I was so original back then.) Maya serves as the baseline of the species. She has no unique coloration (greyish skin, yellowish bone, white "pupils", etc) She has two cartilaginous "hair things" that come from the rear of either side of her head.

If you read/listened through that whole thing, I commend you. You get +1 digital cookie. Good job <3

My condolences. Hope you can correct it without too much effort. It's a pain I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Not the best piece I've done, but here we are. Been a bit since I've posted anything, let alone art. Also it's an exceptionally rare instance of me posting booba. I'll return to my art dungeon now. #furry #furryart #furrysnfw

I'd say solution is to use linux, but huion tablets have even more issues on linux. Idek how much of the proprietary software loaded onto a modern thinkpad is necessary for basic function, so unfortunately I can't be much help.

010

Rego @regognix.bsky.social · 21/09/2025

Thinkpads used to be good, but they got enshitified like everything else unfortunately. In my experience (almost 10 years using huion tablets) the tablet drivers have some issues, but I've never seen that error. Could be some conflict with how the manuf drivers are interacting with the tablet.

So there's just a lot going on today huh?

Oatmeal cream pies are peak. The marlboro pic reminded me of this meme lol

A meme of a skeleton smoking with the words "Suck dick? I'd rather be sucking down the smooth rich taste of marlboro cigarettes and also dick"

Will do! I'll have to throw that on when the next movie night comes around!

010

Rego @regognix.bsky.social · 06/09/2025

Felt. It's a great watch. I've only just started watching Koji's movies, and Occult was the first. Kinda wild to me that it just pops up right after.

Rego @regognix.bsky.social · 06/09/2025

Man I JUST watched Occult. How tf do I just happen to spot it somewhere on my feed?
