Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 11/03/2026You can do this. You just need capital controls or to not fight recessions / inflations Nothing wrong with a stable currency, it’s a plus because it makes planning easier 110
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 10/02/2026Yeah, I think so. Also even with inefficient planning steps, I am still moving much faster 110
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026It over zooms in on this. I think better prompting would've kept it focused on the overall problem. Especially the first prompt was bad. the second can be expanded. 210
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026You ask it for "give me some data analysis to think about" and it notices some patterns of the overall data, but you should've specified that you want information on #1 and #2. You then clarify and show it some sample analysis on finding product ranking flips on fri->sat 110
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026You want to predict what products are your #1 and #2 sellers and know when they are going to change or likely to change. You do not have advance notice on when new products drop, but they usually drop on the same day of the week. 120
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026I asked the AI for explotory data analysis on a time series I have. Imagine you sell 100s of products that drop and then fall out of popularity. Their initial drop is their peak and they they slowly decline. Some might have weekend or weekday improvements. 110
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026I can give you examples of how not to prompt. I can't see times when I prompted well, because then the AI 1 shot solved it. 110
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026It’s pretty clear people are going to be better at physical task 010
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026Question in my mind is Do we have gdp = f(labor, capital) for white collar work or do we mostly have gdp = f(capital) At some really high productivity point it becomes blurry 220
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026This was prompted to me by unleashing an agent at a personal project time series. Not a hard time series problem mind you. I think it did VERY well. Multiple days of progress quickly. 020
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026I am more startled I gave it vague "give me some EDA" and it seems to have done a good job with that. 220
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026what am I thinking, I should've just texted you directly. 100
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026gotcha, so no agent work? where you give it a task and it iterates on it? 100
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026I am interested in talking to anyone who has used claude code and DOESN'T think this and why they do not think this. 150
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026I think it will at a minimum fundamentally change what white collar skills are. I will keep using it and see if my mind changes 280
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026It needs some help with architecture sometimes, but some of its suggestions are usually right. Also, lots of humans do worse. My big advantage is giving it context and translating a business question into a technical question. 280
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026I just had claude spin up work for a time series personal project very quickly. I think it is very unlikely I will be coding in the future at all 260
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026oh. I mean that you complete your work 10-20% faster and that's it. Your work doesn't really fundamentally change 120
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026Other answers would be "yes, I use copilot at work" 030
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026I don't understand what you mean? I think your answer would be "No I haven't used them" 220
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026Yeah its quite clear when someone has used it vs when someone has not 010
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 08/02/2026Question for "AI is a productivity boost, nothing more" people 1.Have you used these tools 2. if so, which ones? 6190

Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 27/08/2025Like this is really bad but like 1/2 of comments are that it’s already gone. Lisa Cook herself is counter suing! 170
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 27/08/20251. Position this will increase inflation 2. Say it has when the courts remove her for Trump This preemptive play book is fucking easy guys 1150
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 27/08/2025Yes it’s bad Trump is reducing it. No we should not say it’s already gone 1160
Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 27/08/2025Are people less pathetic about fighting to preserve some fed independence on this app? 4300

Reg monkey @regmonkey.bsky.social · 03/08/2025But yes I’m associated with them, they split off of badecon. Interestingly, I think some of them came around now 050
