A gritty Yale team concluded one of the most glorious seasons in decades upon falling 21-13, to No. 2 seed Montana State in the FCS playoffs. Congratulations are in order to head coach Tony Reno, his staff, and players on a great 9-3 campaign and co-Ivy League title with Harvard.

Game Day! Can the underdog Yale Bulldogs (9-2) pull off another FCS upset? No. 2-seeded Montana State may have something to say about that. On their home field. A 10-game winning streak speaks volumes.

Another memorable chapter in the glorious history of Yale football. An epic 43-42 win over Youngstown State University after trailing by 28 points. Next Saturday is No. 2 seed Montana State on the road. The Elis are now 9-2.

The co-Ivy League champion Yale Bulldogs make history today when they face Youngstown State University in the opening round of the FCS playoffs. Another sterling moment for Yale, the "cradle of football" in America.

Yale's 45-28 win over Harvard in THE GAME completes the happiest variety of a six-pack. A share of the Ivy League title with the Crimson. Plus an FCS Bowl berth. The Elis (8-2) win or share their 19th Ivy crown. Harvard (9-1) wins or shares their 20th.

Now 38-14 in the third quarter, QB Dante Reno and Yale's offense are operating at full throttle.

18 seconds have elapsed . . . and on their first offensive play it is Yale 7, Harvard 0. A sweet start for the Bulldogs! Can they sustain home field advantage?

With an FCS Bowl berth at stake, plus the Ivy League title Yale (7-2; 5-1 Ivy) faces Harvard (9-0; 6-0) for the 141st time on Saturday. Will their Yale Bowl clash match the games in 1967 & 1968? To find out, see the brand-new book, BLUE POWER, whose compelling story lives on. www.reglansberry.com

Once again, THE GAME will have special meaning. Harvard (9-0; 6-0 Ivy) vs. Yale (7-2; 5-1 Ivy) for the championship. A lot on the line this Saturday at historic Yale Bowl.

Farewell to Larry Brooks, a Hockey Hall of Fame writer who set the standard for the profession. His loss creates an incalculable void that hockey and N.Y. Rangers' fans will feel for a long time. Thank you, Brooksie.

After downing Brown 34-22, it is Crunch Time for the Yale Bulldogs (6-2 overall, 4-1 Ivy). They cannot afford to stumble vs. Princeton this Saturday (3-5, 2-3 Ivy) on the road. Shades of 1967 and Elis legends Brian Dowling and Calvin Hill.

Led by stars RB Josh Pitsenberger and QB Dante Reno, Yale now stands at 4-2 (3-1 Ivy) after a 24-10 victory over Columbia. With momentum building via a three-game winning streak, this Bulldogs team reminds one of another sterling one-two punch. 1967, anyone with the Ivy League title ever closer?

Yale's stylish 35-13 defeat of the Penn Quakers lifted them to 2-1 in the Ivy. Arch rival Harvard is in the first place (3-0). Coach Tony Reno's troops will try to keep the momentum going next Saturday when they meet the Columbia Lions at the Bowl. Four games, and weeks, of hard work remain.

After a 47-7 trouncing of Stonehill on Saturday, the Yale Bulldogs (3-2; 1-1 Ivy) now face a far stiffer test. Awaiting them are the Penn Quakers (4-1; 2-0 Ivy). Will the Bowl's friendly confines prove decisive?

When a team suffers a last-second, gut-wrenching loss there is but one thing to do: Try and learn from it. Head coach Tony Reno's Yale Bulldogs (2-2) will try to do just that when they meet Stonehill College (2-4) this Saturday in the Bowl.

Although Yale (2-1) fell to an undefeated Lehigh (6-0) combine 31-13, the Bulldogs will regroup and go back on the road this week. Next up on Saturday: Dartmouth (2-1) at Memorial Field in Hanover. A big game for the Elis (1-0 Ivy) vs. the Big Green (0-1) Ivy.

Yale's 41-24 defeat of Cornell on Saturday upped their record to 2-0 (1-0 Ivy). It evoked memories of 1968 when the Bulldogs scored 49 points in Week 2 to rout Colgate as QB Brian Dowling and his mates put on a show at the Bowl.

Do we hear "Two/2"? The Yale Bulldogs (1-0) will begin pursuit of the Ivy League title when they meet Cornell (0-1) today in a Noon clash at Yale Bowl. What better time to get the Ivy campaign off and running?

The Yale Bulldogs began their 2025 season on a winning note with a nice 28-10 victory over Holy Cross. Hopefully the start of Bigger and Better Things. Those were precisely the expectations head coach Carmen Cozza's team had in 1967, too.

Today the Yale Bulldogs kickoff their season against Holy Cross. Just as they did in 1967. Could this year parallel what happened in 1967?
