Got some great presents (both the book and DVD of Project Hail Mary, and some Seanan McGuire/A. Deborah Baker books), an awesome dinner at our favorite Indian restaurant and lots of well wishes from friends and family. Had the day off, plus tomorrow and Friday. 61 is off to a good start!

(If I end up using them - very likely! - do you want me to give them your name/email so you get a referral credit? In which case, can you DM me your real name/email? Or you can email me at msreginagiraffe at outlook dot com. Thanks!)

I'm currently in the process of deciding that I need all the Miyuki Delica 11/0 beads. Very sensible.

I'm not saying I would be happy to read it but I'm not NOT saying it, either.

Or if it's not there, write to the authors and ask them for a copy. If they don't want to give it to you, DM me and I'm sure I can get one.

Fortunately I've been vaccinated against Salmonella typhi and the vaccine has some cross protection so I'm hoping my immune system will kick this sooner than usual.

Today I learned that Albert Einstein was born on March 14. He was born on 3.14, pi. How perfect is that?
