Second half of promo; shows Dragon Ball OC muse against a grungy abstract background.

"Nah. This is way better," she assures with a nod. "I don't even have cards, anyway." She holds up her cup of change—but she isn't asking for a tip just yet. "Ready?"

"Hello! Would you like to see a magic trick?" The beggar girl in a hat clearly seems eager to show [the reader] whatever she has in store.

i definitely lean further away from the idea of her having a "base diclonius instinct" and more into that being an extension of Lucy's aggressive form of protection over the host/main personality

🎶: if it's not obvious i don't portray kaede/lucy as a pure villain. she is very much capable of evil, yes, but i primarily try to focus on what the anime tried to say about her in that she's a girl who's been through unspeakable trauma but is still indisputably human despite that

I am nerfing this in the sense that Kaede is very aware of what her vectors are capable of and takes great care not to touch people with them. So like, please don't worry about it unless we talk about it prior to writing and want it to be a plot point for some ungodly reason. 😅

there can potentially be even more, reach even further, and be even stronger in dire situations. Another thing is that they transmit a virus that causes men to pass on the diclonius genes to offspring, and can get regular people sick.

🎶: For people unfamiliar with Elfen Lied: Kaede has a telekinetic ability to control metaphysical appendages called 'vectors', which are invisible arm-like appendages that cannot be seen or detected by other means. She has 14 that can extend to about 7 feet, but as demonstrated in the manga,

While the muse is portrayed as having DID, please be aware the mun does not & relies mostly on personal research & input from real people. If you have constructive criticism for how to better write her, I encourage you to DM me!

Fights will rarely happen & only occur with prior discussion. Please understand that the muse is easily triggered by violence, & when Lucy sets out to kill, she will. Her vectors can have impact forces as strong as nuclear bombs and reach into space under dire circumstances.

Mun is 21+ and prefers to write with others of similar age. Expect triggering topics such as: trauma related to child & animal abuse, scientific/medical malpractice, torture, murder, & SA.

Kaede / Lucy / Nyu set five years after the events of the anime, making muse approximately 23. Canon divergent with a DID interpretation of her character.
