Good morning. I had them out early this morning. Had to move more stuff out of the shed, and throwing sticks uphill always does the trick. Now they're tired and I don't have to listen to them whine while I do inside chores. I am so winning.

Good morning. I have 3 days To build the porch greenhouse To secure the back greenhouse To wash and paint the front door To finish the back fence Before the temp drops 25 degrees. There are also 6 more things on that list that I will not get to. Unless I give up eating, sleeping, and errands.

Good morning. Is anyone else having jet lag? For the last two weeks I've been feeling like I've crossed 5 time zones. Usually I'm up at 6, working at something until 4pm. Lately, I'm up at 8, futzing until 11, and then futzing some more until a nap at 2. Then nothing. Time change please.

Good morning. I was just thinking about these a few days ago, and look, here they are. Miss Millie, the woman we bought the house from, had the most beautiful garden. Unfortunately, it's 40 years old and most of the beauty has faded. I try to keep up, but I don't want to ruin what she had.

Good morning. This is my cat. Gary Indiana. He plays saxaphone with a jazz band. He came home at 7 this morning, asked for breakfast, ate, then went up to bed. He's waiting for me to give him his massage. He claims he has arthritis in his shoulders, b/c his sax is so heavy. #caturday #lovehim

Good morning. The greenhouse for the aloe vera is pretty much finished. Now, I have to build the porch greenhouse for the cactus. Last year I was reported to the city for building a "room" without a permit. The neighbors hate me because I let my yard go wild this year. I love bees more than rules.

Good morning. I'm off to the real world again. I guess it's a Thursday thing now. The back fence is almost/halfway finished. However, the next 50 feet look like this. I have all the tools required to do the job, and the weather will hold until Saturday, but.... I might call the goat man.

Good morning. Well, here we are, day 742 of rebuilding the back fence. Put in some of the boards at the bottom so the big pig wouldn't get out. Although, that never deterred him before. On another note, the greenhouse held heat overnight so I'm rather pleased. The aloe won't hate me.

Good morning. We're having a chilly snap tomorrow night so I had to rebuild the greenhouse. It's not finished, but it's enough to keep the aloe from freezing to death. I hope. Hoping to finish the fence today.

This is where he escaped from. But I didn't realize it until AFTER I started the new fenceline, which is no where near this mess. What the big pig doesn't realize is I'm connecting the two so he'll be able to run around the whole yard instead of just half.

Good morning. Had to go into the real world yesterday. Found this beauty for the kitchen. No it's not marble (what I really wanted), but it was $15. Brand new. Hand made from 6x6's. At checkout, she said, "$11.25." I asked, "Why?" She said, "Senior citizen discount." For the win, but WTF!

Good morning. Well, here we are. Day 2 of fence building. I will spare you the trials, tribulations, and small injuries. However, we seem to have had some good luck and finally hit true dirt at the 4th pole. I am excited to finish if the rain holds off.

Good morning. This is my front doorway. I have allowed my garden to grow excessively wild for the bees. Every morning I open the door for the cross breeze. For the last three days, a hummingbird has been flitting through the morning glories. I think it's a sign. For what I'm not sure.

Good morning. Found a little sleeping bum in my flower. My dogs barked and woke him up. He seemed in a fog. I asked him if he needed a coffee. He walked to the top of the next flower, stuck his tongue out, and sucked the dew off the flower tip. I literally saw a bee's tongue. Mind blown.
