For my birthday I’m gonna post another horrobrew Roster, a demon that drains the energy and abilities of fictional characters and takes their place within their home media. #horrorbrew #marioexe #horrobrewoc

Wicked, despite his name, is actually quite friendly to those who’re playing his games. However, if he happens to recognise someone from the dev team that abandoned him (or really any Nintendo employee), he… tends to lose his cool

1- “However! I shall rectify my mistake, by turning this game into something to suit your interests! You needn’t worry about a thing, I’ll take care of it all.” 2- “Apologies, player. I’ll be back in just a moment, hopefully with a game more suited to your tastes.”

1- “Player, are you alright? You don’t seem very engaged with the game… is something the matter?” 2- “… Ah, I see. Yes, while it is very popular, Mario 64 isn’t going to appeal to everyone… I understand, and am sorry for wasting your time.” (More dialogue below)

These NPCs show up in most footage of the game, usually either being put in bad or harmful situations. While some theorise these are the souls of Wicked’s victims, they are simply code. Why they are known with human names? A mystery to be sure… Summers.L, Winters.MPS and Autumn.KB

Wicked is able to do just about anything he wants, shifting his form (seen here), manipulating and even creating levels, making new enemies, etc etc. Since he is able to look into people’s heads, he likes to personalise the game for different people.

Wicked loves playing chess master and is particularly fond of riddles, which he gives through pieces of signage bearing his face, these block off important and even new pieces of hub world and levels.
A Wicked Sign. They bear resemblance to the signs in Mario 64, though instead of paper with writing, they bear a wide smile and the same shadowy face with green spiral that Wicked has. A riddle is seen in a textbox next to it.

“Not a plant, not alive
Death and rot is where I thrive
A certain someone hates my taste
But they also make him grow with haste

What am I?”Misc. doodles of Wicked Signage.

Meet Wicked! Originating from a scrapped Wii remake of Super Mario 64, where Wario was the main villain instead of Bowser, Wicked would be born from the abandoned code once gears shifted to Galaxy and remaking 64 on the DS. #horrorbrew #marioexe #marioexeoc (More info down below)
Wicked shares Wario’s face and general body shape, with very notable differences. He is wearing a trench coat and short fedora, his fingers float from his arm with no palm, and a shadow is over the top half of his face, a green spiral where his right eye would be. He has one hand behind his back and another raised. There is yellow text saying “WICKED”, with a green spiral background for the art piece.
