COMIC UPDATE! In which Graznikh takes a little tumble. I'm really proud of this one. Do you have ANY idea how many elk/moose attack videos I had to watch in order to get the angle right on that fifth panel?? I'm slightly traumatised. itgotm.the-comic.org

he is my sweet cinnamon roll, it is known. ( he also talks to his twin that didn't make it and I'd equally insistent that Pir hears/watches. both these things....,welllll.....kids and adults can be cruel. He never stops believing either in spite of it all)

Day 10 #tolkientober "Entwives" No one will convince my Ellothion that his friend is 'just an apple tree'. Of course not. Honeybracht is just a sleeping Enting. His mother couldn't hear him and wake him up, so that's why she couldn't find him! #fanart #doodle #sketch #ringsofpower #OCs #aronwyn

Sketch. father with small son on his shoulders in a blooming orchard. Boy looking up speaking: “Ada? Do you think Honeybracht remembers his Naneth? If he was a sapling and not a seed, will he know how to find her when he wakes up? If he's an actual piece of her? Like...how turtles always know where to come back to to have their babies because they remember the place they were born? And if he's a part of her, doesn't that mean she's his place?”

This is both hilarious, very imaginable as a cartoon scene, but also poor snaga!

comment catch up later but I vote for Maeglin not only having their own calendar but becoming a designer....sure there would be a ton of appreciative models if he decided to stand on the sidelines or design for different body types.

#tolkientober day 9- #Boromir 's weakness is a main focus of his character, but for me the temptation wasn't just about power, control, or revenge. It was about "Hope" for Gondor. #sketch #fanart #doodle

Again you take such consideration to context! You're not wrong, what does free will or freedom look like? And how might your actions, personality, be shifted if you've only known cruelty? When it's presumed of you? On an artistic side, love your depth and the trepidation captured.

No, thank YOU for your sharing your talent! It was such a lovely surprise to start a book I didn't even remember putting on hold/alert and be greeted with your voice!(Cassandra Speaks in this case)Not to mention a few titles where, as I get better at putting things down, were made worth listening to.

Can I just take a moment to gush over @xesands.bsky.social ? Starting a book with some narrators feels like coming into a warm home from a snow storm. Which might be an odd comparison given how many thrillers I've experienced through them. 😅 This is my autolisten/buy criteria.(I've four.)

Stretching today's #tolkientober prompt "East" juuuuust a tad to do this. Do I care? Nope.(Stealing from them again 'cause I can't repay how lovely they are to me.) @lomionart.bsky.social 's Laithrun. The Avari, then Moriquendi, have relatively Eastern origins and haunts. #fanart #doodle #sketch

I don't just want to rush today's #Tolkientober prompt so I'll probably do it tomorrow and either the day before's or tomorrow might end up being a skip. Or much later catch up. Aka it's getting late and I'm torn between three ideas.

Soooo co-worker isn't coming back. I'm now the only worker for the department in full.People covering other days only here to slice things. For now the 50ish hour weeks will continue. Likely for winter. When hours are cut, less time but still days. Whelp. At least this will help with winter costs 🤷🏻

At the risk of sounding judgy... who the *bleep* invites someone to a -wedding- last minute? I mean unless it's literally: Yeah they proposed and we decided to hit town hall in a couple weeks. I mean there's a lot of numbers related planning generally.
