Rupert Lowe today: restore "the link between British citizenship and being British". Restore Britain’s paper, 2 September, on citizens whose parents and grandparents lived here all their lives: "They are British." Next line: "They are not Britons." fibberd.com/b/british-but-not-brito…

Reform UK took four days to settle on an answer to the last donor question, the Channel 4 film: eleven defences, one an inquiry announced a quarter of an hour before both aides were gone. Farage, 4 September: "The party has taken no money." fibberd.com/b/reform-has-a-kettle-p…

Restore Britain, 27 September, on its mass review of citizenships: "That number may well be very high indeed." The law strips about a hundred a year, each open to appeal. 4.3 million UK citizens in England and Wales were born abroad. fibberd.com/b/crimes-against-our-pe… #UKPolitics

When Channel 4 reporters posing as donors got to Farage, Reform UK's Robert Jenrick said: "It's not the role of the leader to do the checks into the compliance." Fair question who does them for a £5m gift, then. fibberd.com/b/reform-has-a-kettle-p…

Reform UK’s Matt Goodwin gets to 2063 by freezing birth rates at their 2022 values: "White British 1.61 … Non-White 1.92 … Muslim 2.35". Migrant families usually converge on the average inside a generation. His model never lets them. fibberd.com/b/a-date-built-on-sand #UKPolitics

Ah, fair, I answered a different question. On yours: if switching parties betrays your voters, Reform has been on the receiving end of a lot of betrayal it was very pleased about. The consistent position is a by-election, and nobody seems keen on that.

The fall is already in the figures. Even the ones Goodwin quotes himself go 1.3 million, 948,000, 813,000 in arrivals. Whether that shows up as gaps in essential jobs is a better argument than a date in 2063, and a more testable one.

The most-seen 2063 post wasn’t Matt Goodwin’s. Ian Miles, 1 September 2025, 5.6 million views: "official projections show" native Britons "slipping into minority status by 2063". The ONS: "We do not produce projections by ethnic group." fibberd.com/a-date-built-on-sand

Some are already routing round it. Matt Goodwin’s 2063 date runs on net migration of 340,000 a year from 2028. The year to December 2025 was 171,000. His answer on 21 May was to look at the churn instead. His model does not run on churn. fibberd.com/a-date-built-on-sand
Matt Goodwin on 21 May 2026, the day the migration figures fell again: "Do not look at the net migration figures." His model runs on net migration. The same post sets out immigrant arrivals for 2023, 2024 and 2025, all falling.
