MOVED TO MASTODON @reefter.bsky.social · 29/10/2025Just a heads up for anyone still following this account: I've moved. Follow @rifter.critter.cafe.ap.brid.gy instead to keep talking with me on Bluesky. (Make sure to follow @ap.brid.gy first, otherwise I won't see your posts on my end!) 040
MOVED TO MASTODON @reefter.bsky.social · 04/10/2025I've made the move for at least a couple weeks at this point but I no longer plan to be active on here from now on. @jay.bsky.team has proven time and time again that she cares more about Bluesky's "investor value" than actual community critter.cafe/@rifter Meet me here insteadcritter.cafeRifter (@rifter@critter.cafe)88 Posts, 24 Following · creature who talks about a variety of things 051

MOVED TO MASTODON @reefter.bsky.social · 21/09/2025^ It's honestly a mood-killer when they come up so frequently while I'm looking for art, I won't go after people that draw them but don't assume that everyone will be like you. Forcing things on others without a go-ahead means everyone loses in the end. 000

MOVED TO MASTODON @reefter.bsky.social · 13/09/2025ive settled in already (rifter@bark.lgbt) but might try another server based on a recommendation i got from another fedi user: bsky.app/profile/eblu.space/post/3l… who knows i might be more inclined to use that one 010
MOVED TO MASTODON @reefter.bsky.social · 13/09/2025ive known about masto for a while but the usability was a bit confusing to start so thats why i havent been using it as much as bsky 110
MOVED TO MASTODON @reefter.bsky.social · 13/09/2025On the off chance that some of you are seeing the smoke from the fire, moving to the Northsky PDS is 100% viable 120
MOVED TO MASTODON @reefter.bsky.social · 13/09/2025By my understanding Mastodon can't have that. It's intentionally fragmented thanks to ActivityPub federation, so you're generally meant to pick a server that matches your interest. There are large general servers but those loop back to being Twitter 2 from what I've been seeing. 060
MOVED TO MASTODON @reefter.bsky.social · 13/09/2025ideally id go with the second option as it puts me in full control of what i see though as i can choose to cut off from entire servers if they make me feel uncomfortable unless this is already a thing in normal masto. this learning curve feels like trying to climb a mountain without gear 100
MOVED TO MASTODON @reefter.bsky.social · 13/09/2025so ill probably either have to join a server that a friend is hosting (none of my friends have the technical knowhow to host masto servers) or try to host one myself (even if i learn how to operate a server i cannot possibly pay for server costs) 200
MOVED TO MASTODON @reefter.bsky.social · 13/09/2025i have an account on masto but my only issues with it is are just. i want to seek out smaller servers since large ones will inevitably be a repeat of twitter but connecting to other servers is probably a huge pain if youre hosting a server 100
