Really excellent build crafting and satisfying combat. It does get bogged down by samey world design and some pretty forgettable bosses though, especially in the second half. Still would recommend on sale. 100

Exploration isn't super rewarding. But it has memorable characters, hordes were fun & the motorcycle being core to the games mechanics and identity is neat. 100

I missed the inventory management of previous/later titles, not having save rooms is a huge bummer & over all just feels like Temu RE4 with co-op & a piss filter. 100

Much more ambitious story(even if I enjoyed Selene's more), spectacular visuals & a killer soundtrack. Great performances as well, particularly from Rahul Kohli & Shunori Ramanathan. Running around the city really showcased the scale of the outbreak & I felt more connected to Jill's story than Leon's in 2. Nemesis himself is fucking annoying tho. 110

RE9 somehow manages to perfectly blend my 3 faves in the series(RE1R, RE4/R & RE7) into a cohesive whole. This is a celebration of everything Resident Evil & had me either scared shitless or smiling ear-to-ear for 15 hours. Can't wait to replay. 100
