Anyway, I’ve sunk in like 20+ hours or even more, still have a ways to go but I love the follow up so far. I miss the Oldest House (and Ahti and Darling, my Darling) but Resonant compensates for it in many ways

Hes a bit of a blank slate and he’s not filled to the brim with charisma, but the same can be said of Jesse. She had a nonchalant, ok that was weird onto the next thing character, cool, collected. I love Jesse but the one criticism I could make of Control is she could have been better fleshed out

I like him.He’s someone who’s been cloistered in a basement most of his life. He’s discovering the normal world and the obscenely weird, and learning to socialise all at once

It’s also been easy to tell difference from the reviewers who played the game to a somewhat thorough degree and those that played it for maybe two hours. Ty e game builds up momentum quickly after a *lot* of info and mechanics are dumped on the player at the beginning.

I have absolutely no idea who this movie was aimed for. An R rated Jurassic Park sounds fantastic, but it was somewhere in between. Spielberg but more gore.

*it was very contrived There’s a lot to like. The dinosaurs are faithful to precisely no dinosaurs as far as I can tell. It’s not afraid to go too dark in tone. I think a more downbeat ending would’ve bettered my opinion of it. Actors all great.

bit of a 90s throwback, with a bigger budget and bigger bucket of blood, just lots of it. I was expecting the violence to be somewhat tame in this; I was wrong. The score was certainly doing its best last third of Jurassic Park homage. Tension never really lets up. Ending was.. a wee bit contrived
