I like trains and think the world would be a better place with more of them in it. Modeller of railway-related subjects, both real and digital. Indie games are also really cool. Fangames are even cooler. He/Him

There are cathedrals everywhere for those with the eyes to see
The same image of three smug motherfuckers in suits with one guy holding a paperboard image of Loss above and to the right of another's head. the only difference is that this time seven crude lines of varying colors have been drawn over different things in the image. these things include the guys' heads and ties, some kind of metal object that may be a folding mic stand or very tall extendable suitcase handle which protrudes above the Sign Holder's left shoulder in the background, the nameplate on the desk which used to read "MR. KENNEDY", and finally the main character in the first panel of the Loss image itself, Ethan

So I retook the quiz after the recent update that tweaked the values a little, answered pretty much the same (there may have been a variation here or there but not often and not to a great degree) and got Justice. Which, while I enjoy that for what should be obvious reasons, I actually find it 1/3

Seems like something must be broken. I was able to take the quiz fine roughly half an hour ago, but trying it again now I just get a black screen. A friend of mine also reports the same on both mobile and desktop.

Here's mine! ...which definitely isn't foreboding or anything given the recent post about how there may be an imbalance towards Kindness results. Really fun and well put together quiz! The presentation is immaculate and the questions are actually thoughtful.

What Deltarune Weird Route players will see after completing Chapter 7B while the normal route folks get Chapter 0/Chapter 8:
An image of an episode title card from the Cartoon Network series "Regular Show". The background resembles a dark, foreboding, seemingly starless cosmos with stippled black and red colors. White text in the center of the image reads "EXIT 9B".

So, I finished #deltarune Chapter 5.
A picture of Gandhi from the cartoon series Clone High looking pensively at a window. His hands are folded behind his back and his head is slightly bowed. In the video clip this image is usually paired with, his words immediately prior to striking this pose as "I'm gonna need a minute to think about this."

The other outliers which didn't get bird names were mostly named for Britain's colonies at the time ("Union of South Africa", "Dominion of Canada", etc) or LNER company officials. One of the latter group was named for Sir Nigel Gresley himself. Another was named in honor of Dwight Eisenhower.

Quayle of two London & North Eastern Railway A4 class locomotives in restored condition, on display at the Railway Museum in York, England. The locomotive on the left, named Sir Nigel Gresley, is blue. The locomotive on the right, named Dwight D. Eisenhower, is green. Both locomotives wear headboards reading "The Great Gathering", which was an event held to bring as many of the surviving A4 class locomotives together in one place as possible.

ones which were fast flyers. The naming scheme was established with the fifth engine, "Golden Eagle", the prior four having been the original batch from 1935 which all had "Silver" in their names, as they were built specifically to haul the newly-inaugurated Silver Jubilee service.

TITLE rather than being the link text in the email, so I thought the question was "What about next time?" instead of "Where will it take place next?" This led to me being confused and answering "If she never stopped smiling, what would make next time different from last?" Damn, Toby. That's cold.
Another partial screenshot of an email from Toby Fox in relation to the Deltarune website ARG. This time there are only two lines of white text on a black background. The first line reads:

"You answered what would make next time different from last?."

The second line, which is a sarcastic response from Toby, reads:

Try an answer.

So, I got my response from Toby for the Deltarune ARG. And.... I can't believe I fumbled it on the last step. I got "She never stopped smiling" as the response to the previous question. This most recent time, I didn't pay close enough attention to the fact that the new question was in the TAB (1/?)
A partial screenshot of an email from Toby Fox in relation to the Deltarune website ARG. It shows four lines of white text on a black background. The text reads as follows:

You answered 6.

So,

"She never stopped smiling."

Move forward with this answer.

A cropped screenshot of the post above, showing Berdly Deltarune's simultaneously sincere yet exaggeratedly self-assured smirk which seems to encompass his entire face. Only one of his eyebrows is visible and his eyes are at different levels, making him appear to be tilting his head away from the viewer with one eyebrow raised in a manner not dissimilar to the "CLEARLY you don't own an air fryer" meme featuring actor Robert Downey Jr.

And on top of that, the way they "figured out trains" was usually by just building ferries for the trains, and then building tugboats with tall pilothouses so that they could see over the roofs of the train cars. Car floats in NY/NJ operated into the 1970s, when they were killed by containerization.
A car float (barge) in operation, loaded with a Central Railroad of New Jersey switching locomotive, three boxcars, and two gondolas. The pilothouse of the tugboat propelling the barge is visible behind the train's second boxcar. In the background, several bridges span the waterway.A photo taken from aboard a tugboat on the East River with two car floats in tow, one lashed to each side. Both floats are loaded with boxcars. The Manhattan Bridge stands prominently in the background of the photo, with the Brooklyn Bridge and city skyline further back. Miscellaneous other shipping populates the scene. An aerial photograph of a steam tugboat with a three-track car float in tow, lashed to the port side. Only the float's two outermost tracks are loaded with train cars, all boxcars with the exception of one flatcar carrying two tall, rectangular objects. An end-on photo showing New York Central Railroad car float No. 15, a two-track float with a central, roofed platform allowing for transshipment of cargo between train cars on either track, the platform being roughly at door-height with the cars. There is one boxcar on each track at the far end of the float, with a New York Central Railroad tugboat lashed to the float on the left side of the image. In the foggy, hazy background can be made out another loaded car float to the right of the image, and what may be the silhouette of a passenger ferry inbetween the tugboat and boxcar on the left.

which also has the placeholder sprite of a black deer in the game's code that changing a single value called "toriel" causes to show up ingame ...which is bolstered by the fact that the White Cloak (AKA weird route Noelle) NPC has the same placeholder sprite but in brown as opposed to black

Not that I'm a hardcore proponent of this idea (though I do absolutely agree that it'd be cool) but weirdly enough if you look at the SWORD route there kinda is one scene that serves as grounds for it? That whole segment where you have to control a black enemy NPC that mirrors your movements

ah, oof, thanks for the heads up I did get a DM from them but here's as far as it got; that last message was what made me sus. Posting it here for the sake of informing others what to look out for.
A screenshot of a direct message conversation on Bluesky between myself (redtrain.bsky.social) and the compromised account maileyjessica7260.bsky.social. Their messages read as follows:

"hi there!"

"sorry for random message just wanted to give you a heads-up someone’s pretending to be you here on Bluesky, and it’s causing some confusion. I’ve got proof to show you so you know what’s really going on."

"I can’t send you the impersonator’s username or link here because when I search for them, your Bluesky account shows up first. If you don’t mind, please add me on Discord: maileyjessica123 so that i can send you a screen shot what the bsky email response to my mistake report about your account"

These messages are an attempted scam. If you have recieved similar ones from this account, do not trust them and do not continue to engage.

Here's the real thing my drawing was based on; the Central Pacific Railroad's No. 4, "T. D. Judah", almost a cartoon of a locomotive in and of itself. She was named for the ill-fated promotor, surveyor, and civil engineer Theodore Judah, who planned much of the First Transcontinental Railroad.
A black and white photo of a steam locomotive. This photograph shows Central Pacific Railroad engine number four "T. D. H. G. Wells' "The War of the Worlds" is an interest of mine that comes and goes, but every now and then I find myself with one of Jeff Wayne's musical tracks stuck in my head and thinking of Henrique Alvim Corrêa's incredibly striking illustrations of the scenes Wells described. Here's a tripod!
