My lola (grandmother) in the Philippines passed away today - when it rains, it pours, I guess 😔 She had a very complicated life from what my mom told me, and I wish I had the photo with me, but I will always cherish the picture my mom showed me of my tiny lola and her huge yamaha bike, RIP lola

At work all day today, but I managed to drag myself up to the studio and do a little something for Byleth's birthday - happy birthday professor! 😭🎁

Left panel of Edelgard presenting a bouquet - center Byleth receiving the bouquet, neutral but surprised. Her expression softens, and Edelgard is taken by her own surprise.

HAPPY FORTUNE'S WEAVE DAY ....I don't actually own a Switch 2 LMAO so I won't be playing for some time, but for all those who are able to celebrate, I hope it's as incredible as I think it seems 😭 One day I will be able to open commissions for fun things, but it is not yet that day

Thank you all immensely, we made it 😭 Due to issues with the life insurance company, anything additional would help with out-of-pocket costs for my MIL's funeral or supplementing my wife's meager sick leave, so any additional shares are appreciated. Thank you all so much! ko-fi.com/redtiebear/g...

My wife suggested I make a ko-fi goal to help take time off to help her with grief, and I would like to continue to help her make funeral arrangements for her mom, and possibly needing to shuttle some of her family around. It’s not much, but please share if you can: ko-fi.com/redtiebear/g...

MIL passed away today, who was like a mom to me in so many ways my bio mom was not. Will be slow to answer any messages, but any well-wishes are welcome. Trying to take it one step at a time and take care of my wife.

The unthinkable nightmare happened - the secondary Wordpress app moved my work email to AN INTERNAL INBOX that I only discovered exists today, visible only on my desktop site. I have missed several incredible proposals. If I have missed your message on my portfolio contact form, I apologize 😭

LOL I DON’T NEED TO BE CALLED OUT LIKE THIS The only caveat is a crazy storm ripped through my neck of the woods and power and internet is a wreck here (my power was spared but internet is down) and will be out for maybe another day or two, but afterwards, it’s on 💖

120

Rachel Distler @redtiebear.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

LOL well tumblr allows me to do polls so I have one there as well and I think you’ll be mightily pleased at what’s in the lead (it’s tier list and impressions)

Rachel Distler @redtiebear.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

I would like to stream on Twitch this week, but what should it be??? - Thoughts on CF and tier list chat 📈 - Edeleth book art stream 🎨 - Forward to Scarlet Blaze 🔥 - Fuck it I miss them, new CF run, we ball 🏀 BlueSky still doesn’t have polls???? So let me know in a comment 🥲🙏

That’s pretty much wherever you go unfortunately, but I take the closeness of this donation competition as a pretty strong indicator of Edeleth’s popularity - it was by a hair, and many yuri couples never compete this hard with a hetero variant. I will continue to put my heart forward with art 🙏

The final result in today’s Three Houses speedrun during GDQ. Pride month is truly over 🥀

The final donation results for “Choose who Byleth Marries” for the Three Houses GDQ speedrun. Dimitri in top spot, Edelgard just below, then Dorothea, Claude, Hilda, and Mercedes

WORK THAT BODY WORK THAT BODY MAKE SURE NOT TO HURT NOBODY

Edelgard walks up to the jam and dunks on Dimitri and Rhea. There is a slightly adjusted meme in the center. Byleth reflects on how she's "going to marry the shit" out of Edelgard

My terrible CF comic for #TerribleComicDay! Everyone hates a recap episode, right??? That being said, I'm once again attempting to stream the finale, if you would like to join! www.twitch.tv/redtiebear IT'S TIME TO WALK UP TO THE JAM

Byleth gives Edelgard a pair of Air Jordans now that Hubert is cured of his fear of horses.
