august was fun! watched a lot of great stuff. arrival was my favorite this month, ad astra was garbage and easily the worst. the batman movies were just "pretty good", as were the other chris nolan films in there... not sure i dig his stuff as much as others do, but they're entertaining at least

GAME 12/100: The Unholy War i finished this game a WHILE ago and never got around to writing anything for it, mostly due to the fact that all the thoughts i've had around it since are just about how much better it could have been and it was hard to settle on a conclusion

GAME 10/100: Hellnight this is a horror survival / walking sim type game with some visual novel elements, released for the ps1 in japan and europe, but never made it to the US. it's one of several games on my list that i had never heard of and i just put on there out of curiosity!

GAME 9/100: Grandia phew, that was a long one!! grandia is a ps1 jrpg from 1997. this is the longest game i've played on my quest so far, clocking in around 45 hours played. the game is well regarded and loved by many people, and if you're one of them, this might be a little tough to read
