Couldn't fit in the previous post, the voice actors did a really nice job!

I thought Really Helpful Engines was a 7.5 out of 10. Good lesson and story but was rough around the edges. It needed some polishing. A railroad consultant I think would make a difference. Despite a few errors the animation was beautiful! I'm curious now, how the series will be. #TTTE

Some screen shots from the new show. The animation looks nice, kinda uncanny as if AEG was mashed with the original CGI. I like how they have British voices! Hope they aren't singing every episode tho. I'll definitely be watching, seems promising! #TTTE

So Rosie appears to NOT have eyeliner. Freckles are faint, footplate is red, wheels lack white rims, side cab windows are large (like diecast toy). That block thing where her coupling hook is, is black instead of red.

The thought just dawned on me last night that the overuse of plastic in the Thomas 2026 die-cast range might be a result of The Tariffs and what do you fucking know

The first paragraph on Wikipedia from the page about the 2025-present US tariffs; highlighted excerpt reads "[...]the items most affected by the tariffs are metals, items mostly made of metal[...]"

Picture of the Thomas & Friends 2026 die-cast Duck, with the only metal piece on him being the cab and underside of the tanks

If we got Donald and Douglas, we would complete engines 1-12! Daisy I'd hope return too, plus more of the NG engines. It really is something to see classic characters return to the show after years of being forgotten by the writers/corporate.

This is crazy, honestly. BoCo and Rickety getting new toys....in how many years? Also Stepney is rumored to return too. Damn. THO the question is, are they toy exclusives or will they appear in the new show? #TTTE www.trademarkia.com/owners/gulla...

I'd love to see a diecast three pack with Teal Thomas, Black James and Lavender Rosie. Though idk if the new show is even going to be looking back at the past like that.

Cinder @redstreak3795.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

It's crazy how many changes the Thomas toys have been through over the years, in particular the diecasts. It's one thing when a different company takes over, but it's another when it's one company making changes every so many years. Detail wise the 2026 range looks pretty good.

Isn't it interesting how mattel is releasing new Thomas toys, yet we still know nothing about the show. I kinda thought by now we would have seen some kind of advertisement for it.

The back of Bruno's 2026 Diecast box reveals Rheneas, and a look at Duck's and Bill's faces. Rheneas is an odd choice imo thought it would be Skarloey lol. Duck's face looks better with larger eyes. Bill's face looks a bit too big. Source: icecat.co.uk/en/p/mattel/... #TTTE

(1/2) I find it odd in the case if Rosie is going to be a main character in the new show, why doesn't she have the same releases in the toy lines as Thomas and Percy? For example Rosie only gets one regular diecast release, no "redeco" version and appears less frequent in the assortments...

Sooo, the new Duck...uh well his nose is a lot bigger, eyes appear too small, making his brown irises look big. The fact his side tanks and boiler are plastic is just plain weird....I don't get why these "diecast" toys are becoming more and more plastic. #TTTE Source: t.co/svyFHxgjKB

I'm very pleased with Emily's new diecast. It's wonderful to see how finally she didn't get the short end of the stick for the toy ranges, even her motorized looks good. She has all her wheels, (minus tender) and her drive wheels are properly larger and actually seem to move. #TTTE

First look at Emily from the 2026 show! She looks great, her face got the same treatment as Rosie's, eyeliner and larger lips, not really a fan of that. Her paint looks like a darker emerald and she's still number 12! Rosie's motorized looks great too! Looks like her cab side windows are fine.

Cinder @redstreak3795.bsky.social · 01/02/2026

Here's another edit from the bird app by engine_magic. They fixed Rosie's windows, fully colored her lamp, made her buffer beams the proper lighter red shade to match her wheels! As well as printing her boiler bands, cylinder lining, and running board. These edits are excellent!

Rosie's 2026 metal toy listing on that website got updated! She looks good, though she could use more prints like her boiler bands, cylinder lining, the gold on her running boards. Yes all of them really need their buffers printed. At least her lamp is printed and her wheels are bright red!! #TTTE
