In the midst of some difficult months, I lost the drive to create. Tried a new project to get it back. It was tedious but great practice in the patience I have always lacked. Plus, it looks pretty.

A sculpture that resembles light purple, drooping wisteria, hanging from the ceiling in the corner of a room. Each petal cut by hand from tissue paper and hung onto green yarn around tiered rings, similar to the shape of a chandelier.

A similar sculpture to the first, this one shorter with its rings hooked to the center of a ceiling fan. The covered light of the fan sits in the middle of the two rings of dark purple flowers, slightly dimming the "big light" of the room so OP no longer gets stupid headaches.

I was there and it's worth noting that I didnt see them at ALL during the protest, and I had been moving up and down the street in front of the Capitol building (which is where they are in this photo). This implies they didn't arrive until the protest was over and most had left lol

They're commonly distributed through trading with other zine makers. I like to leave mine in random places around my city. Others sell theirs online or send them to be scanned by zine archives. They started in the 30s Harlem Renaissance and were extremely popular in the 90s underground scene
