Looking at the 1B market I don’t see the clear upgrade you’re looking for. France is a career .266 hitter- it’s what you have at half the price. You don’t have to be A+ at every slot. You can’t be a C at any. Resources can be better used at 2B, 3B (assuming opt out) & CF (jury’s still out on Ewing)

I don’t know about Pat but Keith has grown quite a bit and has grown on me as well. But he doesn’t have the decades of Mets lore that Howie can pull out at a moments notice. Keith will be good if he focuses on being the best Keith Raad and not the next howie!

It’s the obvious answer. It lets Stearns save face, it lets cohen support his POBO while putting new hands in the helm, it outwardly demonstrates a commitment to improving through change and it lets Stearns focus on what he does best- which is not this!

I’m in Houston so the NY broadcast is blacked out. I was listening to howie and Keith and turned in the tv to the Houston broadcast and my word our booths are just SO MUCH BETTER than everyone else! i tried to watch with the radio feed but it is so in-synched #Metssky

Because after all these years I’ve learned to enjoy each game for what it is. Just bc we’re not chasing a pennant doesn’t mean we can’t have a fun game to watch. Just take it game by game. Plus the booth (radio and tv) makes it enjoyable

Read the article. The primary reason they want to end no fault divorce is b/c it enables divorce if “only one party wants to.” So they are saying they want to FORCE one spouse to remain married against his/her will (& we know it is usually “her”). Between this and SAVE why would anyone marry?
