Red was given a camera by a very eccentric woman in Cerulean City and was told to 'capture extravagant moments'. Red doesn't know what extravagant means, but he'll definitely take photos of cool things he sees along his journey. In fact, he's already snapped a few photos.

"One more time!", he called out to Venusaur, who looked back to nod at him. Leech Seed had already kept the Dodrio from getting away with free damage, giving Venusaur a bit of a cushion when absorbing sunlight.

In the early mornings of Kanto, the exuberant Red was out on Cycling Road, or beside it in a patch of grass. He and Venusaur were training, the green giant learning a new move recently: Solarbeam. Practicing strategy, Red was getting the timing of the move down.

Map open, he jabs his finger on town's he's been through in the past while smiling up at Charizard who was arching his neck downward to see their destination. Nodding, Red cheesed while getting on the mighty dragon's back! Then, the two were off, taking to the skies!

Charizard was taught FLY by some lady past Celadon, Red didn't question it. His mother hugged him! It had been a few months since he left on this adventure of his. He shown off his PokéDex: 131 Pokémon seen. His badges: 4 of them down. And his starter, fully evolved. He was.. her little man now.

Red's Mom sat alone at the kitchen table, reading a book about pecha berry farming when a shadow casted over her home briefly, followed by a thud. The door opened! It was her 11 year old, standing there with a smile across his face. She was shocked and came rushing over, happy to see him!

Rocking back and forth, the ball eventually stopped with a click, starts twinkling at the button. "Yes!", Red cheered, running over to retrieve the ball. One after another, more pokémon were being captured after battle. Ponyta, Wigglytuff, Fearow, all caught by the boy gleefully!

Poké Ball flying and landing on the wild Persians head, it opened and zapped the wild cat into the ball before landing and rocking back and forth. Team Rocket about or not, Red's goal to catch all 151 Pokémon was still on the forefront of his mind!

Boarded up doors and windows, vacant streets, tension in the air, and men in black scattered about the area. Team Rocket was here, and the city was plagued by the crime they bring. Pikachu narrowed his eyes, electricity surging at his cheeks, prepared to rid this city of it's infestation.

Glug.. glug.. Red overheard the guard at the booth say how thirsty he was and remembered he had a lemonade in his backpack. The older man happily chugged it, and gave the boy a thumbs up, allowing entrance to Saffron City, the biggest city in all of Kanto. ..His smile almost immediately flipped..

Staying at the Celadon Hotel, the one with the haunted computer, Red was in bed. Pikachu resting at the foot of said bed, but his trainer couldn't sleep. What a day. Getting rid of Team Rocket in the Game Corner, Mr. Fuji and his quest for him, his pokémon evolving to their final forms..

... Making it to Lavender from the underground pass, Red seen Pokémon Tower in the distance and finally stormed the massive cemetery. He won't sit by while people and pokémon alike are suffering, not if he can help them!

They were stationed in Lavender Town, doing who the unimaginable to the locals. Red has had enough of them, and with Charizard gliding behind him, he grabbed his bike and followed them!

It wasn't long for Red to chase Rocket out of Celadon! The patrons at the Game Corner unaware there was a hero amongst them, and in quite the tiny package. Rushing outside, Red would see Rocket grunts tripping over each other while sprinting to the underground, causing the boy to tighten his glare.

Following behind Venusaur's evolution, Charmeleon finally joined him! The glow fades, showing the flaming lizard's final evolution to his worthy trainer! Charizard roared out, striking fear into the misguided Kangaskhan and long lost Giovanni!!

Flame burning brightly at his tail, his skin taking on a lighter orange while the single horn at his head grew and stretched into two. Finally, two wings sprout from his back and stretch outward, showing it's wingspan!!!!

After a tough battle, with most of his pokémon fainting due to Giovanni's ruthless tactics, only he and Charmeleon stood, with the latter struggling. Shaking his head, the flame lizard breathes heavily while staring down the mighty Kangaskhan. Tending to Pikachu and Wartortle, Red looked to him--

.. but, words his mother instilled in him echoed throughout his head. The best trainers have the biggest heart, not the most badges, or the most pokémon. This... man.. Giovanni..? His way of going about pokémon was deeply flawed and wrong! Fist tight, teeth gritted, Red had a flame in his eyes!!

Him? He's the one responsible for all this mess? The activity in Mt. Moon, forcing Pokémon to evolve. The Nugget Bridge. Stealing TMs and leaving homes ransacked. The death of the Cubone's mother. And now, trafficking stolen pokémon. This was becoming too much to stomach, Red felt queasy.....
