I was going to write a review for another BL I just finished, but I really didn't like it... However, in this sort of field a lot of opinions are based on preference. I think I'll just tell you what books I DO like and why and just avoid the ones I don't like entirely. ദ്ദി( • ̀ω•́ )✧

I've been making steady progress on writing out Jasper's first week as a vampire. 11,000 words in and we're on day four!!

A graph slowly going up. 11,456 word count. 4hr and 50mins active writing time (which isn't true cuz I've had to write offline 😭). 99 sessions in 17 days

I've been reading a lot of BL manga to see what I like, so imma review them. >:3c Far From Romance by Amamiya 💙💙💙💙🤍 Lovely one shot that pulled me into a soft romance. A slower burn then what I'm used to in these one shots, but it definitely paid off. I only wish we could see it more clearly!

Some of the panels were so muddled that I couldn't tell what was going on, which made me SO SAD cuz what I COULD see was deliciously drawn.

When we get to the spicy stuff, there's an additional halftone applied which obscures too much of the scene in my opinion. Now, I like me some tasteful stuff typically, so I'm not saying "umm! Why couldn't I see every vein???" I'm saying I WAS CONFUSED!

I'm not sure how to share my writing with y'all... I've only ever shared illustrations so... Any ideas on the best way to do that? I'm legit considering hiring someone to read it aloud at this point LOL how do writers do this social media shit

Obviously there will be a lot of passion, love, small touches, yearning, love at first sight, and other such mushy things too LOL we just gotta add a lil spice and drama while we're at it...（ΦωΦ）

I've had people ask me, "how explicit do you think it's gonna be?" and to be honest?? I don't know!! The 18+ tag honestly is just a safety net so I can freely explore all levels until I find what works best for the story I want to tell. It'll be spicy for sure, but the Scoville Scale is unknown~

BUT it has developed quite a lot since then. There's Drama. Vampire covens. Emotional crash outs. Mind control. And a slooowww burn love with OODLES of yearning. Hope you'll help me in my dream to add another vampire BL to the shelves! 💪✨

I was personally offended at the lack of vampire content in comparison. I'm a vamp gurl. Been obvious since I can remember. Was I the only one?! I had to fix this... And we hadn't met for DnD for a while... sooo I picked those boys up, tossed them into a coffee shop AU, and Red Eye was born!!!

A little story for those who don't know... The idea of this comic stemmed from one date day with my partner. We stopped by a kinokuniya, which is ALREADY a favorite spot of mine, and I noticed they carried BL. Now. I honestly haven't been a reader of BL, but I WAS obsessed with--

Jasper and raspberry jam... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )

A vampire by the name of Jasper eating what is clearly without a doubt raspberry jam and definitely not blood. It's dripping all over his mouth, and he seems pained? Confused? There's layers to his feelings on jam. Drawn in monochromatic grey and red for his iris and... the jam.
