Yeah I've called off work today too. ... honestly, this feels like my body is telling me to quit my job at this point.

🔞 ReddestDragon 🔞 @reddestdragon.bsky.social · 4h

I'm sorry to do this again on shorter notice but I can't stream today either x.x I desperately tried to sleep for it but I couldn't. My body hates me, I'm really sorry u.u

I suppose the TLDR of this whole thread is that I'm not as good at looking after myself as I thought I was xD but hey, it's a learning process. And, also, I'm still alive, and as long as I'm breathing I can make sure I look after myself. I just need the time.

🔞 ReddestDragon 🔞 @reddestdragon.bsky.social · 17h

I get my own health is a priority, and a lot of the previous posts are probably poor self care, but, honestly, I'm just trying to make the most of my time. Maybe things'll improve if I quit work. I dunno. Would give me more time to get my life in order, I guess.

The problem is also that the docs over here are overworked and understaffed all the time so I don't wanna add to the problems, especially if what I have isn't serious x.x But also I work so much I don't have TIME to book a doctors appointment between streaming and generally resting so... blegh. x.x

110

🔞 ReddestDragon 🔞 @reddestdragon.bsky.social · 17h

I don't get hungry too often, and I only really eat at regular times to try and keep up a routine in the hope of getting it back. Realistically that may be due to long-term stress/anxiety/some other mental thing but I do feel a bit better on time off work. ... I still should see a doctor though.

🔞 ReddestDragon 🔞 @reddestdragon.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

Gonna be honest I've been sleeping pretty badly all week so I won't be streaming today so I can get a little more rest. In better news, the body aches have eased a bit today so maybe I'll actually be able to rest a but more before work later.

🔞 ReddestDragon 🔞 @reddestdragon.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Honestly my only options are either to stay in this limbo where I feel myself getting worse and worse every month, or finally walk out and hit streaming as hard as possible in the vain hope of somehow making enough money through that to support myself. I know it's insane, but I want to. I NEED to.

000

🔞 ReddestDragon 🔞 @reddestdragon.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

It's taking everything I have to not walk out of my current job because I got paid decently from the hours I put in last month, but having a whole week off work made me realise how depressed and stressed it was making me. There are no other good alternate jobs ANYWHERE near for me to take either.

🔞 ReddestDragon 🔞 @reddestdragon.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

Today is one of those days where I don't think I can be bothered to do anything other than stay in bed because my back hurts and my ribs hurt and I feel light headed and I'm slowly sinking into a depressed state or going borderline insane from how bullshit life is being. ... I don't think I'm okay.

🔞 ReddestDragon 🔞 @reddestdragon.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

I got sick today. I think I stressed myself out so much over stuff it's stuck around. This sucks. I hate being stressed.

But at the same point: Holy FUCK there are some people out there I would just hoard away from everything and keep all to myself if I was able to, huff. I wish to smooch and hug all my friends and spread love to everyone And also breed the FUCK out of the ones that want it =3=

I wish I was good at relationships. Like, there's a part of me that wants to be with someone, but also I know I've been in enough in the past to realise I can't. I've tried closed ones, open ones, poly ones, I've tried so many types and every single one has just not worked. Single for life, I guess.

Last call for one of these PAX Aus pass holders for PAX this weekend. Feel free to DM me if you want one custom made (ill also probably have a couple of 'blanks' - those without a name on the plate, for anyone who decides they want one on the day)

Realised I'd forgotton to schedulepost last night, woops! Stream later today; more Original Sin 2 with Mynx and Violet! Plus a Barony collab with Guzma, Lost and Kajinotora on Tuesday! Sadly I'm back at work during the week so any bonus streams will be on the weekend, if I have the energy for them.

As much as I DO actually earn a little bit of money from ads, I think I'm gonna make a change to my streams in light of this: There will be no more ad breaks for my streams. If brands get to choose their creators for ads, but creators can't choose brands, then I'm just gonna stop it completely.

020

🔞 ReddestDragon 🔞 @reddestdragon.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I don't consent to having my streams transcribed by AI for any purpose whatsoever. Quite frankly we should destroy all the data centers to save our water and kick out the greedy selfish little shits who are trying to shove AI down our throats. And no, it won't stop me swearing like a drunken sailor.

I've also been looking into vertical mode but trying to get the redeems to work in that is a pain in the arse, specifically with getting streamerbot to recognise the vertical sources even exist in the first place =3= It's something else I'll plug away at, for now.
