Spooky, but easy. The worst part is figuring out how to navigate the Meta app to enable developer mode so I can sideload apps. I used Singularity to root it.

I've never used Fastify, but honestly, if it works, I would focus on refactoring with the stack you've already made rather than porting... unless there's a very compelling reason to port.

This is a highly contentious subject haha. PHP used to be awful, but new PHP is very good. It's fast, easy and has massive community support. Laravel is the reason why I still use it. It's a really nice web framework that has tons of tooling. It is a pain to deploy and scale though.

Right now DipCDN is a Laravel app I threw together really quickly. I made it before AI was mainstream so most of it is coded by hand and honestly kind of a mess. Deploying a PHP app is kind of painful so the goal is to port it to Go and make it a portable binary and then open source it.

During the Basis load test DipCDN served about 60k downloads and threw no exceptions. At some point I want to port DipCDN to Go and open source it, but dang this thing works really well right now.
