It's also worth mentioning that Ralsei seems first and foremost insecure with people exerting any level of condescending behavior on him in general

Again, cool if that's your theory, or what you are CERTAIN is the case, buut... I just don't rly see it that way, and I think feeling that way doesn't warrant someone flying out of left field to call someone else a bigot for it (like myself), haha

Like I can see where they're coming from, sure, but there just is not enough substantial subtext here for me to go "yeah ok that sounds pretty much like fact", but my greater point was just therein the fact that I noticed a long chain of genuine volatility and hostility towards the contrary

Idk, I'm sure how someone could draw conclusions like this kind of stuff from a LOT of the details, but other things are like... Blue and pink drink - same colour palette as Kris "excitement" at being regarded femininely - Immediately mentions "if it's what Kris wants", basically...

Just so unproductive though... Like the whole, lashing out deal. It doesn't do anything other than prove you're reactive and passionate, which- both can be a virtue in their own rights, but all lashing out accomplishes in the end is harm lmao

i mean i think attaching "femboy" as a term to a character like Ralsei who Is A Child would be weird in general but idk I just wouldn't associate with them either

I experienced both sides of that btw, both my parents wanting me to stay a feminine man, and the internet trying to convince me I was actually a woman. Both were extremely uncomfortable experiences because both assumed I wasn't mature or informed enough to decide I was nonbinary haha

Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 22h
Personally I just genuinely don't prefer it either way, I want people to discover themselves however it comes to them. I can dislike certain aspects of that stuff and still see it has virtuous qualities too... hence why I was so delicate about it haha

Getting compared to extreme right-wing freaks was not on my bingo board for October but if someone would stoop that low in a pitiful attempt to insult my character i'm honestly kind of impressed like i have not seen this level of virtue signalling in a minute bruh

Therefore, by calling her / him as both pronouns, I acknowledge the greater story arc of them being both male-presenting (likely due to being closeted) and female-presenting in a few cases (their true self). It was just for context's sake, lol

Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 22h
I literally call Jax as his/her here, NOT Gooseworx. I also use a third party gender-neutral term as, previously in the post chain, I literally acknowledge how Goose is a woman, therefore the context was already granted. Jax, contextually, has presented both as masculine and feminine across TADC.

Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 22h
Literally how did you even get that lmao???? wtf I was just saying that because there are different origins of people who are transgender, the same umbrellas are harder to apply. The cultures are fundamentally different in unforeseeable manners.
110
Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 22h
??? what does this even mean?
110
Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 22h
This in and of itself is just a weird statement to make, I just believe children at the ages of or younger than 10 years of age are incredibly impressionable and, without proper guidance, may misunderstand fundamental concepts about this kind of stuff. Children need informed guidance, is all.

-as if it's not something I myself believe. With deeper research and understanding, more trans youths will get the treatment they need to live happily.
000
Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 22h
Yes lmao As a matter of fact, I have been advocating for the deeper research of what makes trans people, trans, both psychologically and physiologically since I was like... 16, when I thought I was still just he/him masc rather than NB masc <:/ It's kind of weird to say this kind of thing-

Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 22h
y... yes, I was saying his/her referring to Jax, who had different pronouns during the course of TADC. Goose IS she/her, correct..? Did I mistype or smth?

My meaning was generally that people come from different places and in those places the world is shaped differently. Transgender culture in America is not the same as it is in Europe or Asia, for example. Vastly different subsets of people with different challenges and upbringings.
100
Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 22h
It'd literally be impossible. People have many different origins, that's what that means. Egg culture assumes you can "tell" when someone is Trans, but like any other "feelings" people have about one-another- especially empathetic ones- they can be wrong, and this can result in people getting hurt.
200
Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 22h
I'd even say I'm apalled that you'd assume I'd consider more transgender people a "danger", lmao. Trans people are people. Period.
120
Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 22h
I love all of my Transgender friends first and foremost. And for that matter, I would CHALLENGE someone to find one of my transgender friends who does not feel the same towards me. Most of us are very close and I would sink my teeth in those who descriminate against them, especially to harm them.
120
Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 22h
-that person's life forever. No less, some extreme outliers would even go as far as to target children and people at their most impressionable, which in and of itself raised the incidences of onset gender dysphoria, one resulting from nurture as opposed to nature, at very young ages.

-one of the very tragic things that has happened since Egg culture became popular online was the type of behaviours we saw in the early ages in Tumblr all the way until now. People celebrating when they "cracked someone's egg", like it was a game, not a serious personal decision that would alter-
110
Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 22h
No, I'm worried about the very real repercussions of people at their most impressionable being made to question things about themselves in environments that don't support it decently. If people come to discover they're trans, and they want to persue it-- awesome! That's their life. That said-
110
Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 22h
And I'd like to mention, not all people with egg mentality are the same, either. But like with anything when it comes to transgenderism, it's important for it to be handled very lightly. That's why I think the entire culture of treating people like "eggs" is dangerous, haha
100
Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 22h
Achieving it is good, but in and of itself, viewing people as eggs to crack open is flawed because it assumes one subset of descriptors makes someone transgender and not a metric slew of things that could come from a myriad of different origins. Again, reductive.

Men who indulge their femininity or have no strong emphasis on masculinity, who grew up that way, who view Ralsei as relatable, being basically implied to that it's so obvious it somehow makes them stupid for not thinking to the contrary. The hostility is unwarranted and unproductive, no?
050
Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
My point moreover just being that I think people should refrain from hostility. It's okay to have an idea about a character, and it's okay to be certain you're right. But the obsession in the fandom has twisted into something that alienates people for thinking differently.
130
Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
-assumedly, had their privacy violated to the degree of making them self-isolate even more than perhaps the average closeted transgender person. It was a very relatable character arc that resulted in the trans allegory flying over some peoples' heads, even if we accepted and enjoyed it, in the end.
140
Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
It all loops back around to being reductive, though. But the Jax example is good, to me, because Goose herself elaborated that Jax (perhaps accidentally) was more than just a trans allegory due to how he/she was written; a widely applicable tragedy of a character, one who-

Redacted @redactedinlight.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
That can be said from both angles though. Both conclusions do genuinely require a vast number of assumptions, almost equally. Again, not implying one idea is inferior to the other, but it's reductive to assume one is due to how it may poorly represent the greater whole of the demographic
