i think ppl would be a lot happier and better-adjusted on here if they realized that being online on a website is like being in any other casual public space full of people. if u walk into walmart u dont immediately think to yourself “i have to be friends with everyone in this walmart and if not everyone likes me i’m a failure” and u really shouldn’t feel that way online either. likewise if there’s a guy in the walmart parking lot shouting obscenities u probably wouldn’t answer him and that’s literally an exact equivalent to some of the weird stuff that people on here seem to feel they’re obligated to respond to.

Oof I’m so sorry… I just ended up buying a treadmill because of this. A lot of the classes I’ve tried don’t seem to understand that asthma is still real when you’re above the age of 12 and teach you to ignore your body cues. I don’t like that.

I share a very similar opinion on Art Fight. I just ask the person if they’re ok with me drawing their OC, and if they say it’s ok, then boom. I loved just drawing OCs for people back in the early days, and I never expected anything back. I wish we could go back to those times.

I pull an “it is what it is” & keep showing up at work/school. But what happens when that doesn’t work anymore? I lose insurance. My job. My apartment I just started decorating after 7 years bc I’m still afraid of losing it. No amount of therapy can soften this reality. #recrambles #mentalhealth

Tbh I’ve been burnt out for years & I’m finally back in therapy. Despite this I can’t seem to stabilize. I’m not in an environment where I can just stop & only focus on getting better. I don’t have resources/support systems that gives me that privilege. Most of us don’t. #recrambles #mentalhealth
