Picture shows a common kestrel perching on a cherry tree in my in-laws garden while overseeing an empty field that he often hunts rodents at.
The lower half of the bird is behind leaflets of said cherry tree and he‘s looking toward the left side of the picture, overseeing that field he seemed to have seen something of interest.

The common kestrel seems to be female, but I‘m no specialist so I‘m not 100% certain. I‘ve considered it being an younger male, but the colors don‘t seem right for that.

The common kestrel seems to be female and in this photo her lower half is partially covered by leaflets of said cherry tree. The bird is looking towards his lower left and thus directly toward me and my camera. She has seen me before she landed on the tree a moment earlier, so I presume she didn’t perceive me as a threat before and was checking if that’s still the case.

Picture shows a common kestrel a second after launching from her perch on a cherry tree in my in-laws garden which is right next to an empty.

She was launching toward the field to hunt, but I couldn‘t see if she was successful at that.

Photo shows a eurasian tree sparrow on a thin (maybe 4-5 mm thick). The bird is between the two rightmost thirds of the picture, body facing towards the camera but the head looking toward the left side of the frame. The sun is providing a warm light from somewhere to the rear right of the photographer (me). Even though the photo was taken around 15:00 CET, due to the time of year the sun wasn‘t high up in the sky.

Migration of tons of data from spinning rust to spinning rust in process.

The data is stored on 10 SATA HDDs (shown beside 2 NVMEe drives) and the output shows all 10 HDD being busy at 90% and higher. I/O operations per second varies between around 200 ops/s on the low end almost 1400 on the upper end between the drives. Throughput per drive is around 225 MiB/sec on average.

Output of the BSD command "systat -ifstat" with a 2 second interval. The data shown is for two network interfaces: Interface "igb1" as the management interface has little traffic. The second interface is "cc1", showing incoming traffic at the time of the screenshot at 8.455 Gigabit per second, a peak of 9.389 Gigabit/sec since the beginning of the data transfer and a total amount of data received (at the time) of 34.165 TB.

Wie bekommt man als „Vergleichsportal“ kostenlose Werbung? Man macht einfachste Rechnugen, bezeichnet diese als „Untersuchung“ und gibt sie als Presseerklärung mit passender Überschrift heraus damit Nachrichtenagenturen und Redaktionen wenig Arbeit haben darüber zu „berichten“.

Screenshot einer Internetsuche mit zahlreichen Nachrichtenartikeln zum Thema „Stromkunden verschenken Milliarden“ denen alle eine aktuelle „Untersuchung“ des Vergleichsportals Verivox zu Grunde liegt. Dabei wurde laut eigener Aussage jeweils der „billigste Stromtarif“ zu Grunde gelegt und mit dem „Grundversorgungstarif“ der lokalen Anbieter verglichen.

Die Internetsuche zeigt eine unvollständige Liste solcher Artkel bei verschiedenen Nachrichtensites, darunter Tagesschau, Tagesspiegel, RP Online, Computerbild, Teleiopolis, MSN.

Meine Nachricht an alle in Deutschland die seit 2016 sagten “wie können die Amerikaner nur so dumm sein?” und bei dieser Wahl das aktuelle Ergebnis ermöglicht haben.

Altes schwarz-weiß Foto von Johnny Cash, das ihn zeigt wie er mit einer umgehängten Gitarre dem Fotografen am ausgestreckten Arm den Mittelfinger zeigt. Cashs Gesichtsausdruck ist angespannt, der Mund geschlossen und man kann das (nicht ausgesprochene) “fuck you” förmlich hören.

Das weltberühmte Foto wurde 1969 bei einem Auftritt von Johnny Cash im Gefängnis San Quentin in Kalifornien gemacht.

A movement to banish them began in France and Portugal, from where they were expelled. When King Charles Ill of Spain became convinced that they were plotting to overthrow him, he ordered the Jesuits in his realm arrested by stealth and secrecy, and brought to Spain for imprisonment.
The king's secret order to arrest the Jesuits was handed to the frontier presidial captains on July 23, 1767—the hottest time of the year. Two days later the missionaries were arrested and started their forced marched south, on foot with only the barest of necessities, and without
any outside communication. For many, it became a death march.
