Squid Game S2 was pretty good IMO, but the ending was such an OBVIOUS cockblock to build suspense for S3. Ah well, hopefully that'll come out alongside HTSDOF S4

Rant: People seem to think every solution can be solved within minutes if they just tried. That, my friends, is how we end up with technical debt and/or bad precedent. There are assholes on here, but just... don't interact with them? Can't see banning for off-platform behavior ending well.

Kokoro Connect is such an underrated anime IMO. I legit rewatch it once a year; the main characters are wonderfully written, and the dynamics between them are really well written. Also, Inaban. Need I say more?

1/8 Had an idea for delegating control over a single ATProto actor that I think is interesting. This came up while considering the use case of "community as an actor"; in some cases, control over an account may need to be delegated to other users. Would be interested in the thoughts of other devs.

Wow: webcam quality is much better now. Stock settings: 640x480 @ 15FPS; but hiked mine to 1080p @ 60FPS; simple tweak of the webcam config. Stock LED strip w/default setup points directly down on the front of the build plate; simple print to angle the LEDs gets much more even coverage

Was thinking about did:dht support last night, if we were to implement based off the spec. Biggest issue is gateways; DID records need to be reposted to Mainline every 2 hours to stay up. This is bad for lower-availability PDSes. So had an idea

Potentially hot take: YAML is great for writing Lexicons. Writing raw JSON is a pain in the ass, and YAML is just a more human-readable superset that is much easier to maintain. Easily transformed to JSON with utilities like yq. Schemas should be human- and machine-readable.

First Gridfinity box went very well thus far; next step is the 6 latches and I'll have my first box! Then it'll just be printing out a bunch of bins to fill it up. Might also look at the drawers later, those would save a little space as well. Used up a lot of PETG already though.

Ran a print last night for a Gridfinity box; Z-offset was a bit off so it smushed the bottom layer, but overall went fairly well. Took a bit more time to dial things in, I think "The Beast" is ready to rip. Definitely need to mod the LEDs though so it's angled; straight down no good
