I'm back from Japan and had such a wonderful time. Minus the fat turbulence on the way back.

Reposting old art since @mge2x5.net inspired me to do! I don't feel like this has been 3 years old already!

TBF I did some CBT and it did help a lot with the more fucked up logic. I'm pretty sure certain parts of it can also be treated with medication. It's worth a try if you find it's an issue in your daily life.

Sometimes it's nice though to know where certain behaviours and feelings stem from though. Hope it brings you some calm to know it for yourself!

I'm currently in the same process with ADHD. Always thought it's the hyperactive thing boys have, turns out it is a lot more and many traits are explaining a lot of problems in my daily life.

Fidis Coin rain Aka I wanted to send this into the Infinity Nikki competition last month and completely forgot to upload it in time. Anyway please enjoy this illustration of Nikki which only took me 500 years to finish.

Nikki and Momo from Infinity Nikki are see shortly after repairing the Plaza Fountain flying in the midst of falling Fidis Coins.

Yes that's what she meant. The cartridges that come with the pen are not waterproof so it will run when used with watercolor! However someone mentioned carbon black cartridges work so I will try those!

Pär🐻 Commissions open✅ @rechenbaer.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

Literally going to order these to test. For some reason I had in mind they are not compatible but people report it's working well!

Pär🐻 Commissions open✅ @rechenbaer.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Good shout! I wish they would just offer cartridges but the converter has been pretty good with the inks I tried which were indie ones.

210

Pär🐻 Commissions open✅ @rechenbaer.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

I think she meant using waterproof ink as the official cartridges only come water based. However if using waterproof ink it might still need a little thinning and probably nip cleaning after use (since it is thicker).

I used this one with another cheap platinum fountain pen: cultpens.com/products/pla...

Pär🐻 Commissions open✅ @rechenbaer.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Nope unfortunately not official ones however I think you can probably try a converter. I haven't tried with the preppy yet but it worked with another fountain pen and other ink!

Pär🐻 Commissions open✅ @rechenbaer.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

Also it looks like my Preppy Fountain Pen has finally run out of ink and I can change the cartridge. For the first time since I got it years(?) ago.

Some sketches from my sketchbook. 1) is character sketches for a story I'm working on. The cats play a part. 2) Sketches from a recent walk.

A excerpt from a sketch shows someone holding two cat puppets. One dressed in a frilly dress and one dressed as a dapper sir.

A open sketchbook page shows sketches of a forest path, leafs and wood stems on the ground done in ink.

I'm working on 4 Nikki fanarts at the same time. And this new outfit is going to drop and I already love it. Y_Y It's giving Fullmoon somehow. Anyway have a wip!

On the left there is a screenshot of the Infinity Nikki new 4* outfit showing Nikki in a whimsy lacy angel outfit adorned with flowers and a cute updo. On the left a work in progress of a canary of the outfit is visible showing Nikki with a serene smile.

Messed up my stickersheets and have now just no cutlines at all 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠 No idea what went wrong. Send layers separately but somehow it didn't register and no one reached out?

A stickersheet is visible without any cut lines.

At the start she is one of those UK club girlies. Something happens and she has to face her crippling depression under all the alcohol and partying. He is in the same math course that she tends to struggle in and through some ways they end up helping each other with their problems.

I had a lot of colouring to do so lots of time to think about them. The story is mostly drama/slice of life. I actually really enjoy thinking about their day to day.

While crouching over my con prep I had this idea with these two characters and now I can't stop thinking about them.

The open page in the sketchbooks shows a man and woman. The woman is drawn in club attire while the other pictures depict her I comfortable clothes.
The man has glasses, a feminine face and curly hair in a loose bun. The woman has long hair, a pretty face and oversized clothing.

My Nikki keychains arrived and they turned out so pretty? I only did 15 each so hopefully I manage to sell them all at the convention! Definitely want to do more now. That worked so well!

The photo shows Infinity Nikki keychains. The first on the right shows Nikki in the Sea of Stars outfit with a second smaller keychain showing Momo in the matching cloak.
The second shows Nikki's starting outfit for Westfield and a smaller Mono matching in base cloak. The last shows Itzaland Nikki and Momo in the Itzaland starting outfit.

A photograph shows a ruler, fountain pen and sketchbook. The sketchbook page shows different little sketches for sticker. One of various bakery items, another for art supplies and the last for grocery shopping.

It's really nice that you give such an opportunity so I would like to share what I do! I mostly do character art and my prices start from 30£+ for a headshot, 60£+ for bust and 80£+ for full body. Currently I offer cons on Ko-Fi but VGen would make my life easier. My vgen is vgen.co/rechenbaer
