Compared to other OECD nations, the UK has fallen behind on ensuring that we have enough GPs to care for every patient. We urgently need a plan from Government to retain the #GeneralPractice workforce. #RebuildGP #TeamGP

The focus on #GeneralPractice is welcome, but we need Wes Streeting and the Health Department to urgently listen to GPs. We need fair funding, a proper retention plan, and the freedom to do our job or patients will continue to suffer. GPs, what do you want see from the Government in 2025?

Wes Streeting's proposals for #GeneralPractice don’t go far enough. ‼️ The £889m of funding proposed is far off @BMA_GP recommendations, leaving GPs in limbo. ‼️ GPs still have no clarity on whether they will be exempt from the NI hike – which could force practices to close.
