When I first read this I thought you meant it was a paper about you and your colleagues lying about things together (presumably to other people for good reasons). All I could think was, I love the UNF RS faculty so much! I want to tell lies with them!

I just finished writing a letter of rec for one of the best students I’ve had in ages! I love writing letters of recommendation. They fill my heart with so much love for the person I am writing for and gratitude at getting to have such incredible humans in my life. #beingaprofessor #gradappseason

Colleagues, this was my first time bringing students to #SBLAAR and—from formal meetings to chance encounters—you were all so kind to them. Thank you! I will not forget your generosity and hospitality! #religiousstudies #beingaprofessor

Anyone on my fb knows that I’m into (mostly) mocking (sometimes celebrating) things ‘past Rebekka’ did. But ‘past Rebekka’ made an incredible decision not to do anything official at #SBLAAR24 + #NAASR24. I’ll be there to hold space and sit with people to process the US election. Friends hit me up 💕🌈

Agreed. Many people start their papers on the plane ride!

I had a student write a paper in which they referenced the “rampant homophobia” of the 1980s. They weren’t wrong, but the adjective felt a bit off.

What if a new social media platform meant you got to be an entirely different person—a symphony of possibilities, a tapestry of uncharted selves waiting to be woven?
