Excellent day 2 at Seven Fonts! A great bunch of students who were very engaged and had lots of interesting theories on the purpose of the bullaun or font stones

If anyone is around Waterford this Friday, I'm giving a lecture on Viking Woodstown for the Waterford Archaeological & Historical Society, based on the plans for the site and the results of the recent surveys. It's on at 8pm, 13th June in the Medieval Museum. And it is totally free to attend.
A promotional image. It features an aerial view of fields bordering the River Suir at Woodstown in County Waterford. The title text reads: Woodstown What Lies Beneath, What Lies Ahead.
