I'M ACHAOS CRAFTER. I usually have several WIPs going at once. Sewing, knitting, crochet, and usually multiples of each. What I work on depends on what I need from the making experience.

What I need from making changes from day to day. Physically, a repetitive stress injury or other pain flare-up might mean I can't knit, but I can sew. Or vice versa. Mentally, sometimes I need a challenge to take my mind off things, and want to crochet a lace with several different stitches. Sometimes I need to zone out and just fall into rows of knit stitches.

My sensory needs change, too. Sometimes my hands want to touch wool, other times they want to work with cotton.
I might leave a project for months before it becomes what I need again. But having multiple projects means I'll always have something to work on.
