One snow day and now two days of remote instruction. Not thrilled that the first hour of my Pedagogy class was canceled (2/3 students had internet issues) but I am SO happy none of them were online when I got the "remote learning" message. My neighbor, a student athlete at Bellarmine U., just shoveled my entire driveway, on his own. The only reason I knew about it was because I walked out to shovel (and helped with the last six inches of snow). I am seriously about to cry.

Emergency appointment with my surgeon at 3-weeks post-op. (I had what should have been an internal stitch sticking out--but that's another story) She fixes the issue, looks at me and says: "Wow! You're a good little healer!" It was adorable.
