Affordability is the #1 issue I am hearing while door knocking in Saint Paul. Healthcare and health insurance are critical parts of that.

Housing is one of my top priorities for St. Paul. Over the past month, I have visited the encampment at Shepard and Randolph twice, visited all three shelters in St. Paul, and met with supportive housing providers to discuss current housing gaps.

There are a number of ways to vote early in the November 3rd General Election. 📝 Vote Early in Person You can vote early on weekdays at the Ramsey County Elections Office at the Plato Building, 90 Plato Blvd. W., Saint Paul, MN 55107. Additional locations are available starting October 16.

I wrote an op-ed for the Pioneer Press yesterday about Flock and AI. I shared ideas that may guide us as we move forward during this uncertain time. We may not have all of the answers, but government is not powerless. Government can and must act even when we don’t have all the answers.

I joined MPR's Minnesota Now with Nina Moini yesterday to discuss the need for St. Paul to change its response to encampments. We must listen to our unhoused neighbors when they tell us that shelter beds are just not the answer. What we need is more permanent supportive housing.
