Bargains I picked up at my fly fishing club's banquet this past weekend. All of this pictured, fly-tying caddy included, for $83. I'm set for tying for a while, I think! Lots to tie flies to fish with, as well as tie some as reference for some watercolor pieces to come ... #flyfishing #flytying

Making coffee at 5:30 a.m. ... I apparently decided to skip the water and pour the makings directly into the cup. Scoop and all. C'mon Tuesday. Let's go.

Some of my most popular works are on display at Vintage 72 in Madison, Ala. I just found out today that if you see something in their shop on the socials that you must have, you can call in and purchase that way. Who knew? -Jared #photography #vintage72 #huntsville #alabama

It's my first video tutorial at my website/blog RearviewMuse.com! It's how to get a gritty urbex feel with a vintage Canon G9. It went pretty well. Except for five seconds of no sound. First video! Ha! #photography #tutorial #Canon #G9 #vintage #grunge #urbex #Adobe #Lightroom youtu.be/nu2ciq11lh8

Dear Bluesky friends, I'm sorry if I bombarded your artwork with heart likes tonight, but I was away from things for more than three weeks, and I had a crap ton of scrolling to do on everything you guys created. And it's fantastic to see you all again.

Colin makes a great point ... view photography on a large screen (bigger than a tablet) to fully understand an image. Also, I learned about Anybox app reading this ... so a double win for me this morning!

I'm back to regular posting. Two versions of my recently posted Fort Worth skyline. Shot as JPG with a now-vintage Canon G9. Color is straight out of camera, mono is very minimal edits. I love the feel the G9s CCD sensor provides. Thoughts? Which do you prefer? #artyear #FortWorth #CanonG9 #skyline
