I don't blame you, I've been a PlayStation guy since I was 6 years old. These past 6 months or so have completely killed my good will for the brand. Somehow the fact that they've released maybe five exclusive games worth playing in 6 years is the least of it at this point.

But the thing about the Marvel games, from what I understand, Marvel came to Sony wanting an Arkham level Spider-Man game. Apparently Sony pitched the idea to Insomniac, and they accepted. So they could have said no it would have gone to the next developer. But they did and Spider-Man 2018 was great

That's actually the tragic part, they've made several of my favorite games of all time, every one of which involved heavy crunch. I even heard up until around 2016 (2010?) they mentioned in interviews that if you didn't want to work weekends, you had no future at Insomniac I've heard it's better now

Okay, I'm probably more critical of Sony than most. But let's not pretend that Insomniac Games aren't happy to be making Marvel games. Everything I've heard indicates the opposite. The only complaints I've seen are from the community who are indignant they're not getting Ratchet & Clank quick enough

Having just replayed Mortal 1 Kombat, it astounds me how the entire conflict of the game would have been solved if Liu Kang just talked to Sindel way earlier than he did. "That would mean revealing myself as the architect of this timeline" That's bad because? Nothing changes when he tells her.

Backrooms felt like it was made to sell you on the concept of the backrooms and was working from the assumption that it was inherently terrifying. It really wasn't though. So it was a bunch of overlong scenes of nothing happening, with lurching storytelling, and underdeveloped characters.

You know, watching Obsession and Backrooms almost back to back was kind of a shock to the system. Obsession was a slow moving horror movie that got really good once it got going. Backrooms meanwhile never got going. I've never been so bored watching a horror movie.

Hearing the reasons why Canada rejected the trade deal with the United States kind of makes my blood boil. POTUS was trying to restrict us from trading with anybody else and was trying to roll back on French language laws in Quebec. The only response is "how dare you". Eat shit Cheeto Mussolini.

One thing I've never really been clear on, is it a bad look to respond to criticism? Cuz I feel like if somebody is saying something about you that is patently untrue, there shouldn't be any problem with clarifying. But a lot of people seem to interpret that as defensiveness.
