Shannon Baker @realshannonbaker.bsky.social · 10/12/2025Being a Native in hollywood can be difficult at times because you can accidentally vet a pretendian just by hanging out with them. You thought the person was safe because your other Native friend introduced you to them in the first place. 🤷🏽♀️ 160

Shannon Baker @realshannonbaker.bsky.social · 09/12/2025Defendians calling out pretendians because it’s trending in the Native community at this moment….I guess better late than never? Are you now going to unfriend your pretendian friends that you invite into Natives spaces? 🤔 050
Shannon Baker @realshannonbaker.bsky.social · 24/10/2025Why do pretendian orgin stories always seem to be the same? They all seem to have miraculously heard from their dying grandparent, on their death bed, that they finally admit they have been living a lie of pretending to be white their whole lives, but are finally coming clean. 250

Shannon Baker @realshannonbaker.bsky.social · 19/10/2025In my culture, Dakelh people could decide to live as a man or woman regardless of their gender assigned at birth. They were not judged for it. Queer Natives were highly revered so much that they could become a medicine man/ woman. 191
