RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 22/09/2026I also just can’t believe we gave Vini a 6 year deal. Let’s just pretend he wasn’t a shell of himself. There’s been no sign that he and Mbappe work together. So why would you commit to 6 more years of that? 100
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 22/09/2026You know what’s wild about this group? Real Madrid the last 4-5 years or so have spent most of their money on very athletic and versatile players mainly to make up for the aging Kroos, Modric, and Casemiro. But it’s backfired in two ways. 🧵 100
Reposted by RealMadridLive✨ MELLY ✨ @mellyfratelli.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Mourinho’s subs haven’t been great but neither have his XIs. 111
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026I don’t want to criticize Mourinho too much because obviously no manager has been able to solve this puzzle. But I don’t love how he has handled substitutions. They’ve come too late in every second half 200
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026I will say Diomande looks way better than Vini on the left wing 000
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Great ball from Bernardo (who should’ve come on at halftime). Great header from Rudiger. Game on? 000
Reposted by RealMadridLive✨ MELLY ✨ @mellyfratelli.bsky.social · 20/09/2026The La Liga title race is definitely over already but probably the worst thing is that will be less than 2 people in the whole entire world who are shocked by this particular result. Could have bet your life on Atleti beating Madrid today without breaking a sweat. 111
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Truthfully, we forfeited this season when we let Rodri go to Barca. The player this team needed the most goes to our rival and has elevated them to a nuclear level 100
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026In the last 17 years, Real Madrid have fallen 5 points or more behind Barca at some point 11 times. They have never won the league when that happens regardless of whether they have made up the points on Barca. Historically speaking, today will most likely seal our La Liga fate 302
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Dropped to a 4-4-1 it seems with Jude as a LM and Diomande on the right 000
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Wow. Vini getting subbed off in response to the red. 000
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Nightmare moment coming true. Huijsen caught out, concedes a penalty and gets sent off 000
Reposted by RealMadridLiveMartinsRealMadrid @martinsreal.bsky.social · 20/09/2026HT: #Atletico 0:0 #RealMadrid Hostile atmosphere on the pitch with a lot of dangerous challenges and fouls that slow down the tempo of the game, resulting in only shot on target from both teams. Open game so far but first goal will be crucial, we need a strong second half. #HalaMadrid 024
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Two biggest problems that need to be addressed right away is the Tchouameni/Valverde double pivot certainly isn’t working. And something must be done about the right flank defensively as Vini has done no tracking back over there at all. 000
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Very physical first half. Neither team looked any good on the ball mostly because every blade of grass has been fought for. This game is screaming for Trent and Bernardo Silva to give us some ball progression and press resistance but you’d obviously be worried about losing physicality and defense 100
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Good decision to reverse the yellow and no red given 000
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026The official has no control over this game so far. He’s let too much go so far in a hostile atmosphere 011
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Jude’s pressing creates half a chance for Vini. Would’ve needed a bit of magic to find the back of the net which he’s certainly capable of 000
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Panic defending there and lucky to not have gotten burned for it 000
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Not a bad effort from Tchouameni there. Chances hard to come by so far 001
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Great ball from Courtois. Nice pull back from Vini that nearly landed at Jude’s feet after a brilliant dummy from Mbappe 000
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 20/09/2026Atlético got away with what should’ve been 2 yellows already 000
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Agreed. I also think he probably wants to avoid what happened to Xabi. Especially after we gave Vini a 6 year deal. Puts any coach in a real tough spot bc now you’re choosing between getting fired for poor results or an unhappy superstar with a long term deal 100
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Elche wouldve been the perfect opportunity to do it too. Tell Vini you’re resting him for Atlético, and see what it would look like with Mbappe on the left and Espi up front. Worse that can happen is after 60 minutes it doesn’t work and you bring Vini on 100
Reposted by RealMadridLive✨ MELLY ✨ @mellyfratelli.bsky.social · 18/09/2026There absolutely has to* come a point where we start Espi in this attacking formation. It’s just something a normal side would try. *Disclaimer: holding breath can lead fo premature death 121
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Just reflecting on the season so far. If we were picking a starting 11 purely on form it would look like this imo: Espi Mbappe. Jude. Arda Fede. Silva Cucurella Huijsen Konate Trent/Dumfries Courtois 200
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Another Carlos Espi game winner. Great run from Mbappe and unselfish pass at the end. Great ball by Jude in behind to Kylian. Looks like we’ll escape a nightmare draw 010
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Jude and Brahim sub on for Vini and Arda. Another excellent performance by Guler, not so much from Vini 000
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Another missed chance by Vini. Rough shooting night for him today 000
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Second half underway. Would love it if we could kill this game off in the first ten minutes and get some rotations in 000
Reposted by RealMadridLiveMartinsRealMadrid @martinsreal.bsky.social · 15/09/2026HT: #Elche 0:2 #RealMadrid Good to pick up a two goal lead already in the first half but still there were a lot of mistakes. Vini missing a few big chances in the first 45 minutes is not a good sign after he had a few very decent games. Game definitely not over yet, need to stay sharp. #HalaMadrid 032
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 15/09/20262-0 lead heading into half. Strong performance so far as we should have probably score 4 if Vini finished just half of his chances. Elche's lines are not compact at all. More goals will definitely be scored. 010
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Real Madrid is always it's most vulnerable after a goal scoring opportunity and Elche nearly pulled one back there 000
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 15/09/2026That was one of the best demonstrations of passing around a press I've seen from us post Modric/Kroos/Casemiro era. Incredibly unlucky that Mbappe was off there. Very tight call 000
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Mbappe probably should have passed to Guler honestly 000
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Mbappe back on the pitch and almost assists Vini immediately but the shot is saved after a poor effort 010
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Massive intervention from Konate to save a potential goal 000
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Mbappe seems to have doubled the lead and injured himself in the process. Not sure if he was onside though 100
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 15/09/2026I could not disagree with this commentator more. Guler should never be a 6. He should be starting on the right wing/midfield when Jude is playing, and the 10 when Jude is not. He is one of the best chance creators in the world. He is not a deep lying playmaker like Kroos 010
Reposted by RealMadridLiveMartinsRealMadrid @martinsreal.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Arda Güler!!!! Great free kick, what a joy to watch him this season so far 0:1 #HalaMadrid 031
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 15/09/2026Arda Guler should be on every starting 11 unless he needs rest. 3rd name on the team sheet behind Mbappe and Jude. Yes even over Vini. He has been better for quite a while now 000
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 12/09/2026End of game notes 🧵 Disappointing second half overall. Truly frustrating how we just will not close people down on the edge of the box for shots or crosses. Inspiring performance from Guler who might just be the best key passer in the world right now. Just peppers the box with absolute dimes. 110
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 12/09/2026The Guler to Mbappe connection remains one of the best connections in the world. Much needed goal to see this one. 4-1 Madrid. #HalaMadrid 010
RealMadridLive @realmadridlive.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Cucurella comes on to hold down the fort defensively. Not a great second half from Vini but played well in the first 000
