A few days after losing Dabjai, things are going. We got a kitten before he took his sudden turn, Kion. Sadly Kion is young enough that he can't really be without another cat. So, we adopted Arhu from the same rescue. They help, not a replacement, no one can replace my baby, but wonderful band-aids.

Once again, I DO NOT recommend students go to libgen (dot) rs and download books for their upcoming courses. I am NOT advocating for getting and sharing free pdfs of required texts. DON'T DO IT.

Today is one of, if not the, worst days of my life. Dabjai, the orange tabby that's shared my life for 17 years has passed on. He's been with me through so much that is still sinking in. But he was in pain, and getting worse. I will miss my perfect little boy with every bit of my heart.

It's hard to continually validate myself and push forward. I've started seeing a therapist, antidepressants all of the nice things that will be a foundation for self-improvement. But I'm always afraid to take that last step and confront my gender. I will eventually, it's just terrifying to think of.

I know that transitioning after the 20s is very difficult, and unlikely I'll see results that I'll be terribly happy with. My hairline is thinning I have wrinkles, and a bunch of other self-image issues I'm sure. And even now with all of the support in the world from my friends and loved ones...
